A fireball appeared and hit Flowey away from sight, then a tall goat humanoid monster with a purple dress came towards us. "What a terrible creature torturing such poor innocent youth... ah do not be afraid my children. I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS. I pass thought this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down. You two are the first humans to come in a long time. Come I will guide you two through the catacombs. This way." said TORIEL as we left entering a purple room with red flower petals(or leaves) and stairs that led to another room.
"Welcome to your new home innocent ones. Allow me to educate you in the operation of the RUINS." She said as she made her way to a yellow switch by walking and on pressure plates. "The RUINS are full of puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and door keys. One must solve them to move from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them." Then we nodded an okay as we moved onto the next room. "To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches. Don't worry, I have labeled the ones you need to flip." We continued until we saw another yellow switch labeled with arrows and Joshua flipped it. We continued on until we saw two switches and the first one was labeled, this time I flipped it, witch made the spikes that was ahead of us go into the ground. "Splendid! I'm proud of both of you, little ones. Let us move to the next room. We continued into a much smaller room, where there sat a DUMMY. "As humans, your will need to be prepared for this situation. When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT. While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation." she said. "A conversation?! Really!? So you just want me to go up to a monster and say 'Oh hey, I like your....WHATEVER'!?" I asked in sarcasm. "Yes, if you stall for some time, it will resolve the conflict. Practice talking to this DUMMY, you first Joshua." said Toriel as Joshua made his way to to the DUMMY. "Um...hi. I like your stitches." said Joshua. Toriel smiled and complimented Joshua. "Your up next Reanna." said Toriel. I walked up to it and tried talking to it "Um... hows your day been going?" Toriel smiled at me. "Well done my children." she said as we entered the next room. "The next puzzle is in this room. I want you to stay close as we enter it. " She said as we approached spikes. "Take my hands my children." I grabed her hand and Joshua grabbed the other as we made it through the spikes. The spikes seemed to go into the ground with every step we took the spikes went down. When we made it to the other side she said "You both have done excellent so far. Now I will have to leave you two alone for a while. Please stay here until I get back. Forgive me." After she said that she left through another entrance leaving Joshua and I alone. "Wanna get out of here?" Joshua asked ambitious for adventure. I looked up from where I was sitting, "But TORIEL said to stay here. What if we get in trouble?" Joshua rolled his eyes, "Ok, I guess I can just leave you alone here." I quickly jumped up and shouted, "Ok I'll come, but don't leave me!" He grinned as we made it through the RUINS.
