Has the day finally come
When we turn off the lights
No more power to rule
No more innocent delights
Had we not done you wrong
With money and greed
We might have found comfort in your words meant to heed.
But no we ran,
Far far away,
From destiny's malice
A soft loving gaze.
Had only we known their truth was un-pure,
The liars inside them, forcing us to endure.
The wicked were just in their cause,
We were just too blind to seek out new laws,
Ones that would free us,
Help us escape.
This world were the right were just a little too late.
