Perseus Son of Greece

"Run" the mother said to her child as a growl came from behind her. She tried to get up but, couldn't of fear she would alert the monster of there location.

The child looked her in the eyes not wanting to leave her but, new it was what she wanted and he wouldn't disobey his mother. "Run Persues please" the mother begged once again. The boy had tears in his eyes still not wanting to leave his mother. Another growl erupted from even closer behind them. The two looked at each other for a moment before a giant hellhound the size of compact car barreled out from behind a tree.

The monster picked up the mother in its maw and began to chew on the defenseless woman. "Run" she screamed before she was silenced bye another bite. The boy finally doing what he was told ran in the opposite direction praying to his father he would make it out of this situation. He still couldn't believe he had just lost his mother to a monster.

He ran until his feet hurt and yet he still ran. Finally the little boy made it out of the small forest and onto a sandy beach next to a vast ocean as far as his little eyes could see.

He ran into the ocean about to swim away when there was a bright flash behind him. He turned to see a man in black Greek robes and eyes that seemed to have stars and planets in them. When he looked closer at the man he saw black holes and nebulaes all over his robes.

The man seemed so familiar it was on the tip of his tongue but, he could not remember. The man smiled warmly at the boy. He noticed that the boy had the same black and silver eyes and raven black hair as him.

The man continued to smile at him while little Persues stared confused at the person in front of him. A growl was heard not far from the two. The man turned around to see the monster staring at him with its teeth showing and looking very hungry.

He stared at the dog before pulling a sword out of thin air and cutting the evil dog down from where it stood. The man turned around looking at a very stunned boy.

The man snapped his fingers and in front of the boy appeared his mother perfectly healed. Crying with joy the boy jumped into his mother's arms sobbing into her shoulder.

"Mommy please don't leave me again". "I won't ever leave you again she said sadly. She looked up at the man who had saved her and her son. "Hello again Hestia" the man said with a small smile.

The woman gave a nod of appreciation before walking up to him planting a kiss on his cheek. "Chaos that hell hound was more powerful than me". He looked deep in thought before his face showed realization. He looked up worried before chanting in an ancient language even Hestia did not know. When he was done she glowed with a black aura. Hestia seemed to feel more powerful.

"I have given you the power to kill almost anything except for Primordials and me". She looked at him thankfully. "I must go now my love but, before I do I need you to take this and give it to our son when he is ready" he said handing her a sword. The weapon seemed to suck the hope out of the air but, when you held it it seemed to give you the hope.

The blade was pure black with a brown leather hilt. There was a symbol on the bottom of the blade. It was an Omega and Alpha mixed together creating the symbol of chaos.

"The blade is made of chaos metal which is made of my very essence and is indestructible" chaos said. "It can also kill anything even Primordials and me included".

"The blade will always reappear in its sheath" he said with a warm smile. "Mommy who is that" the little boy asked nervously? "This Persues is your father chaos creator of the universe". The boys eyes got as wide as wagon wheels.

He ran to his father with tears of joy in his eyes and hugged him so tightly chaos couldn't breath. He patted his son on the back happy to finally reunite with his son and lover.

"Hestia you must take him somewhere safe before the other gods and goddesses find and kill him"Chaos said sadly.

"I will". Chaos disappeared leaving no trace of a immortal being behind. "Lets go Persues we need to get to the safe place before it's to late" the mother spoke softly to her son.

"Mommy where are we going". "I am going to let your uncle Poseidon take care of you for a while". The boy smiled remembering the time he had met his uncle not to long ago. "Yay I get to go live with uncle P" the boy shouted happily. The mother grabbed the little boys hands and flashed them to the beach where the water was still and the sun was shining.

Hestia made a fire ring around them and began to chant in ancient Greek.a few moments later a tall muscular and tan man appeared looking at them with a smile. He had jet black hair and had lines on the sides of his mouth. Persues could tell that his uncle smiled a lot.

"What is it that you need sister" Poseidon asked? "I need Persues to stay with you until Zeus isn't suspicious anymore". He nodded his head in understanding and then gave a small smile to his nephew.

Persues gave him the biggest smile he could muster showing all of his shiny teeth. Poseiden chuckled at his nephew. "I will keep him safe don't worry sister". Persues turned around to see his mother with tears in her eyes. He ran up and hugged her with his own tears.

"I will miss you mommy" the boy said sadly. "I will miss you as well Persues". She looked up to see Poseidon with a sad smile on his face."It's time for you to go now son" she said while tearing up. The boy was about to protest about his mother not coming with him but, Poseidon cut him off.

"Come on Persues I will teach you to do some pretty cool things too" Persues head perked up when he said that. "Lets go then uncle P" the boy shouted.

TIME LAPSE 500 years later

"Persues get up its time for you reveal yourself to the other gods so you can earn the right to rule" Poseidon yelled from outside Persues bedroom. "I'm coming" he grumbled from under his blanket.

He got up and took a bath in the bath house. When he got dressed he came down stairs with his messy black hair in his face. "It's about time you got down here". "You should be more excited considering that you will be seeing your mother for the first time since you came to my palace" Poseidon said with a smirk.

Persues looked up shock written all over his face. "You didn't tell me I would be seeing my mother again" he said happily and more energized. "Well what are we waiting for let's get going". Poseiden couldn't help but, laugh at his favorite nephew.
