I sat there in my chair listening to mr.park and his daughter joy.
"Marry my daughter, it'll be good for our companies and the media will love it!" He started laughing reaching for more whisky
"Ah sir, your kidding right?" The air in the room suddenly became tight and breathing got harder
"No he's not" joy said smiling next to him
"Mr.park don't you think there are much better men for your daughter?" I need to my self outta this
"Nope, you've known joy since young and your a successful man" he crossed his arms
"Do you not like her? You think I can't raise a fine daughter? I raised an entire company!" His voice rose and he slammed his glass down
"I invested my self to help you those years ago.... I can just cut my shares with you and watch your company sink into the abyass your father drove it into" I'm trapped I'm thought. I cant afford to lose her fathers suppourt
But I cant afford to lose jisoo
I love her, she'll understand
Right?
"Your not seeing anyone, I don't see any reason to reject my offer. I'm giving you my daughter" I just shook my head listening to him go off.
Jisoo I'm sorry
"I accept your offer" they both smiled
"Thats the son I saw my friend raise" He walked over and gave me a pat on the pack.
"Oh I heard about your Christmas party comming up! Lets announce your engangment then" My chest felt like it was gonna explode

I flahsed them a smile. watching them leave

"Ah oppa I just got back with the coffee is your meeting over?" Her voice caught me off gaurd
I cant tell her not yet
"Are you okay? Your really....pale" she put the coffee down. Rushing over to me
"Im alright" I said reassuring her.
"Jisoo I love you" she passed me my coffee
"I love you too taehyung" Her smile washed a wave of relief over me
I took a sip if coffee
"A-ha! I knew I forgot it here!" joy suddnly appered again
She just walked in waving to us, grabbed her bag and left.
Jisoo waited till she closed the door
"Why was her bag here?" She immediately asked
"She came in here with her father" Her gaze seemed unsure
"Okay" was all she said taking another sip of coffee
"I'm going back to my desk now" the click of the door closing left me all alone in my office.
I need to figure somthing out.
I can't marry joy
And I cant lose the compamy
But I also cant bear to lose jisoo.

- Jisoos POV -
With it being only a few weeks from the Christmas party my anticipaton only grew.
Christmas was my favorite season
Lately, ive noticed joy coming in and out of taes office alot. From that one incident were she came back for her bag.
Its Probaly nothing I tell my self
But I know its something.
The door made a click as it opened revealing joy. Its not even a suprise anymore shes been in an out of his office so frequently
"Ah jisoo! Your going to the Christmas party right?" I nodded my head in response tryna return back to typing
"Lets go shopping together!" She said excitedly. I looked at her thinking.
Why are you suddenly acting so nice?
"Oh uh.... I don't kno-" before I could awnser she started clapping
"Was that a yes I heard???? Lets go after work today okay?! Ill see you later" I was left speechless and how she dictated the situation.
She may be acting nice but she still dictates everything
Time flew by and I was getting ready too meet joy
"We going home now?" Tae said walking out of his office
"Uh... You are, not me im going shopping with joy ill be home later" I slung my purse onto my shoulder
"You going what with who?!" He said sounding distressed.
"Shopping with joy......why are you so?is something wrong?" He vigoursely shook his head in response.
"No no not all no no" I could tell somthing was up with him responding to me like this.
"Ah. I see.... Well uh ill see you later?" His face had an expression that ive grown to know.
There's something going on he dosent want me knowing
I still have faith in him
Dont make me regret having it.
