"You don't understand-" the crippled man's voice broke off as copper-red blood trickled down his beaten torso. I crawled on all fours towards the opening of the cave. "Please, I only want to help!" the old man groaned, clutching his chest in agony. "I'm sorry," I said gravely. "But this is what I was trained for." I took a rope out of my belt, tied the end into a loop, and whipped it towards the top of the cave. I scaled the side of the rocky cave.

Once I reached the top, I took a deep breath and jumped into the gaping crevice, bracing myself for the impact. I let out a little squeak when I hit the ground, nearly slamming into the wall. When I opened my eyes, I almost fainted in shock.

Blocking the entrance to the headquarters was a fully grown Ice Dragon, emitting a powerful frosty air off of it's sparkling white scales. I stood there, spellbound by the 20 ft long creature. It glared at me warily with bright blue eyes, it's tail curled protectively around(her) three eggs.

She growled menacingly, a light shower of icicles coming from between her blinding white teeth. I lightly touched my pinkie to my thumb, the secret Tamock sign for peace.

She yawned loudly and resumed to cautiously laying around her snowy eggs. I collapsed against the wall, relief washing over me. Suddenly, I heard a roar come from above.

With a loud screech, what appeared to be a ball of wild flames burst into the cave. After the..thing landed, the flames became smaller and the 'thing' took the shape of a Fire Dragon. No, no, it couldn't be.. This can't be happening. It's not possible! Could this actually be.... no. The same terrible monster who *gulp* ripped our entire country apart thousands of years ago?
