The Perfect One

Chapter 2

I was so confused about what happened last night that I forgot to be at school early so I could find my locker. Shit I thought to myself this is gonna be a long day. I really wish I could just stay home all day and do nothing but watch TV and eat. My friends texted me and told me they would wait for me by one of the trees. So when I got to school I looked around for Ally, Savanna, and Samantha my best friend. While I waited for them I decided the check my Facebook. Then I heard some footsteps and when I looked up I saw Cody. I wasn't really sure what to say or what to do then Cody sat next to me, "So how did you like our little kiss last night hmm?" he said. "I uh it was umm I don't really know to be honest I mean I thought we were friends but friends don't really kiss other friends on the lips I mean the cheek is fine but on the lips its just kinda wrong to do something like that." I wasn't really sure what he was expecting me to say about it I mean yeah it sent tingles all over my body but has always had that effect on me.

"Hey school is starting in like five minutes just so you know."

"K" then I looked around and realized that I wasn't sure my friends were really waiting for me.

During third block my phone vibrated indicating that I had a text. I wonder who that could be? I asked my self. I looked down and saw that I was Samantha 'sorry we weren't there waiting for you our coach called a mandatory meeting asap and we got excused from homeroom, first, and second blocks. I'll see you at lunch k?' 'Um yeah sure that's fine.' I reply, usually we would walk from third block to lunch together but today I guess not. I was a little upset having to walk to lunch alone it was boring mostly because you don't have any one to talk to, so I just walked to lunch until I heard someone call my name who the hell is calling my name I thought to my self. I turned around to see Cody running trying to catch up with me so I stopped and waited for him why I don't really know but I did.

"You walk really fast you know." he stated

"yeah so what do you want?" I questioned

"well I don't really have anyone to sit with at lunch so I figured I'd sit with you" Cody said

"Oh you just figured it would be okay with me because we are friends is that so?" I said annoyed. right now I really didn't want him to sit with me I needed girl time which I never get because Samantha was always busy with homework or soccer or even he little brother.

"Helloooo earth to Alecia!" Cody said waving his hand in front of my face.

"hmm what yeah?" I hadn't realized that I had zoned out I was to consumed with Samantha and my issues of not getting girl time that I zoned out. Alright Alecia you got this you can eat lunch with your friend that kissed you last night even though you said that you just wanted to be friends with him nothing more nothing less. I said giving my self a mental pep talk.

During lunch it was Samantha the girls Cody and I Samantha and the girls were talking about soccer and I was just sitting there checking my Instagram and Facebook. I hadn't heard Cody calling my name cause I had my earbuds in and was too into this weird video I was watching.
