"Kailan uwi mo?" Tanong ni Angela.

"Huh? Spring for sure." Sabi ko through the phone.

"Sure ka ba? Kasi we have an event nun." What?

"What event? I don't remember you telling me what will happen in Spring, am I going to have a modeling contract sa Pinas?"

"No silly, we're going to have a reunion with friends from college." No way, that won't happen.

Too much memories happened that time.

"Oh, have you informed Hayden?" I asked.

Honestly, I will do anything to not go back to college memories.

"No, please do it nalang, sige I got to go. See you Maddy."

And ended the call.

I sat before my desk, I am supposed to write books. But my mind said no. So I decided to call Hayden, my bestfriend ever since.

"Hayden? You free tonight?"

"Oh, have you decided already?"

"What?"

"That... never mind, what's with the night?"

"I'll stay for the night there, I need to chill. I'll tell you when I get there."

"Okay, will wait for you."

I went out in the shivering weather of New York.

I just walked my way, it's just a block apart from my house.

"Hayden?!" I knocked in his door.

He opened it, and his face was so shocked.

"Come in Maddison."

So I went in and dragged myself into his cozy couch.

"So, what's going on?" He asked.

"Nainform ka ba na may reunion sa Spring?"

"Yes, Clark told me."

Clark. The name made me flinch as it brought back memories.

"You okay? You're shocked Maddison." He said while touching my back.

Honestly, I'm not okay. Gusto ko nang lumubog sa Earth. Me? Seeing Clark again? A big NO.

"Sorry Hayden, I was reminded of too much memories."

"It's 4 years full of memories, Maddison. Haven't you moved on?"

I hope I did. Sana kinalimutan ko.

I know, I'm still mad at them for doing such thing to me.

"You know Maddison, we need to go home by February." Oh God, just tell me you wanted to go home that early, in that way, I won't come with you Hayden.

"Isn't that too early? Namimiss mo na ba yung Pilipinas?"

"Obviously, yes. Maddison, we have families waiting for us. Just go with the flow."

PRESENT DAY, 2018

I'm finally going home after many years. How many years has it been? 5? It feels like yesterday when I graduated college and got here to the airport in a span of 10 hours.

"Anong gusto mong gawin natin pagkalapag natin sa Pinas?" Tanong ni Hayden, halatang excited.

"Ikaw bahala. I'll rather explore, it's been years."

"Yeah, why not we go to Tagaytay? Zambales? Baguio?"

"Hahaha, you're funny Hayden, anyway, that's a good idea! We can explore! Wow I didn't think something good will finally come out of your mouth rather than your dirty mindset."

A little background about Hayden, he's my bestfriend. Basically, he's my bestfriend till the day we die, even though he gets his own wife, he won't forget about me. We've been bestfriends since 7, our parents are friends too. Our friends in college were always asking us if we're together because we're always together.

"Dirty mindset who? I'm not like that!"

And he pinched my cheeks.

Yup, we're clingy as hell. Anyway, I'll just sleep.
