The Loss

*Buzzed*

Mina quickly to reach on her ringing phone. As she checks the time.

"Oh it's 8:00am already, GREAT! I'm late again." - Mina as she rapidly goes off her bed.

Suddenly She received a call from her assistant Sana.

"Hello, boss?" - Sana.

"What is it now?" - Mina answered with a panting.

"You really need to hurry now, Its an emergency" - Sana with an agitated voice.

"I'm preparing as fast as I can, What's the problem now?" - Mina while still putting on some make up.

"It's about the new game we're going to launch next month" - Sana.

"What's with that? We've settled it like a week ago. What's the problem now?" - Mina with a frantic tone.

"Our Artist got caught in a crossfire on his way here, He got shot right on his drawing hand and it will take probably half a year to fully heal." - Sana.

"WHAT IN THE ACTUALLY ?!" - Shocked Mina answers.

"But isn't he the only artist we have now?" - Mina

"Yes boss, That's why I called you as fast as I can, I'm worried that if we can't come up with a game art to put in the cover of our game, the board of directors may actually cancel our launching" - Sana.

"Dammit! I worked so hard on that game, I literally didn't sleep for about a week just polishing every details of it and now it's gonna be cancelled? I won't let that happen! - Mina furiously answers.

"Just wait for me Sana, I'll be there as fast as I can." -Mina

"Okay, boss" -Sana.

Mina drive as fast as she can to make it in time before the board of directors have a decision. On her way she almost accidentally hit a woman on the road. The woman fell off and loss her consciousness on the road. Mina decided to carry her and put her on the back of her car. As she's back at the wheel. She lost her focus and forgot to pass by a hospital to drop off the unconscious woman. She parked her car and rush towards the room where all of the board of directors are.

*door slammed open*

"I'm so sorry, I'm late." -Mina who's trying hard to catch her breath.

"We have decided, This game is gonna be cancelled if you can't present a Game art within a span of 24 hours." -Head of the directors.

"WTH?! 24 hours are you insane? Do you know how hard it is to find a artist to create a game art? Can't I have a extension please? -Mina furiously replies.

"Of course we're joking" -Head of the directors

"One week, That's the maximum time." -Head of the directors.

"Okay! Thank God!" -Mina let out a sigh of relief.

As Mina exits the room with a doubtful grin, with focus on her phone looking for a friend to ask for help. As she walks down a hallway she heard a high pitch voice rushing towards her.

"BOSS!" -Sana running towards Minas direction.

"How did it went?" -Sana.

"Better than I expected, They've given me a week to present them a Game art or else, they'll cancel the game." -Mina.

"What are you planning to do now?" -Sana.

"Of course find an artist who's accepting rush and in a place close to where we are." -Mina.

"You're right! Uhm... by the way boss its seems like you left someone in your car." -Sana.

"What?!" -Mina.

"There's a cute women at the back of your car" -Sana.

Mina and Sana rush towards the parking lot. Mina was shocked when she saw a Woman who's inside her car.

"My gosh, did I really just forgot about her" - Mina.

She rushed towards her car and open the door, The woman inside who's staring at her phone fumbled and panicked.

"OML!!" -Woman.

"Are you okay?" -Mina asked in a concerned way.

"Mhmm?!" -Woman.

"I almost hit you earlier because you weren't paying attention to your surrounding" -Mina.

"Well you should've done it" -Woman.

"Wait, WHAT?." -Mina.

"I just practically saved your life! Now your telling me I should've ran over you? What the hell is wrong with you?"  -Mina.

"Well, what do you want then?! A token of gratitude?! You ain't getting it. You know what you should've done? You should've just drove over me and in that way I'm going to thank you in every way possible!" -Woman.

"OKAY! First of all, I think you should get some rest because you looked like you haven't sleep in days or even weeks and second I'll get you to the hospital because you don't seem pretty well and your brain is messed up." -Mina.

Mina shuts the door and have a little chitchat with Sana.

"WOW, you're actually gonna waste your time on her instead of finding a artist?" -Sana.

"No! Finding a artist is your job! Talk to me if you find one, Okay? Try sending pictures of his/her arts and I'll evaluate it. -Mina with a grin on her face.

"You're  actually giving me That job instead of you? Wait a minute are you concern about her?" -Sana with a weird smirk.

"Of course, I almost hit her." -Mina

"Most likely that, but consider that she's such a cutie, I'm sensing you have a crush on her." -Sana with that weird smirk on her face again.

"Seriously?" -Mina as she rolled up her eyes on Sana

"I mean, I haven't seen you talked to girls like that ever since your last actual date" -Sana

"That was a year ago, okay and now I'm just really concern about her, so remember to find me a artist while I'll drop her off a hospital" -Mina.

"Okay but make sure to clean your house before you take her there okay?" -Sana :).

"Shut up and find me a artist!" -Mina.

"Take care of the cutie for me okay?" -Sana

"My gosh you're gay!" -Mina

"You know me so well boss, Hihihi" -Sana with that adorable smile of her.
