미술품 (Work Of Art) [A MiChaeng AU]

Breaks.

A good morning greets the couple having coffee in the living room.

"Babe will you pass me the ketchup?" -Mina, as the two snack on egg rolls made by Chaeyoung.

"Here you go." -Chaeyoung.

The two finishes their meals and prepare.

"Could you hold this for a sec?" -Mina hands her phone to Chaeyoung and goes to the bathroom.

After a few minutes.

"Babe?" -Mina, as she saw Chaeyoung staring on her phone screen blankly.

"You alright?" -Mina.

"Huh? Uhm. Yeah.. Yeah... I was just... Let's go?" -Chaeyoung, snapped back after being lost in the moment.

Mina drive Chaeyoung home and have her way to work. In no time she arrives at work. Not so far away she saw Sana standing on the entrance of the building. She goes to park the car and greets Sana a hello.

"Hi..." -Mina as she was cut by Sana.

Sana suddenly hugs Mina out of nowhere.

"Wait... What's this?" -Mina utterly confused.

"WE DID IT BOSS!!!" -Sana suddenly screams.

"What?!" -Mina shocked.

"We did it! Our game will be publish next week!" -Sana as she cheerfully continues to scream.

Mina suddenly takes her phone and calls Chaeyoung.

[Phone rings]

"Come on babe pick-up" -Mina, thinking that Chaeyoung is taking too long to pick-up the call.

After a few attempts she had no response.

"Dammit!" -Mina with a frustrated tone.

"Calm down. Maybe she's just sleeping. I mean you and her we're together all night. She's just trying to regain her strength for another night?" -Sana naughtily whispers to Mina.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" -Mina as she aggressively grabs Sana by her hand.

"Let's go!" -Mina.

"Where?!" -Sana.

"Of course at Chaeyoungs house!" -Mina.

"Can I invite Dahyun? You know like a double date?" -Sana.

"What?!" -Mina.

"Lets just go." -Mina.

Mina and Sana head towards Chaeyoung's place. As soon as they arrived they saw Chaeyoung packing her things up. Mina then suddenly grabs Chaeyoungs hand.

"Babe!" -Mina.

Chaeyoung suddenly resists and finally freed from Mina's grasp.

"Stop calling me that!" -Chaeyoung, who's eyes are teary up.

"What happened?" -Mina.

"Why don't you go ask you and your assistant." -Chaeyoung.

"Huh?" -Sana.

"What do you mean?!" -Mina, who is still shocked by Chaeyoungs actions.

"You outdid yourself Ms. Myoui. You really did. You know your assistant is intelligent enough to understand how human works! She's right you could've just ask for it!" -Chaeyoung.

"I don't..." -Mina

"You didn't What? You didn't think this through! I really thought I was the one who's being self-centered. What if I didn't discover huh? Where are we going with this fraud huh?" -Chaeyoung, as a sudden burst of tears started falling.

"I'm sorry but please believe in me, I regret everything about that!" -Mina, as she as well sheds tears.

"Oh so now you know what's happening?!" -Chaeyoung.

"Please! Let me explain!" -Mina, who then again grabs Chaeyoungs hands.

"Come on do it! Explain!" -Chaeyoung.

"It was a company issue. Our artist got injured and can't do anything but such a coincidence that my game is just about to get released but we didn't have a game art. So the board of directors gave me a last chance. I needed to present them a game art within a week and so I met you and so on." -Mina.

"So that? Huh?" -Chaeyoung.

"That's what it takes to make fun of a person's feelings? Smart move and I must say you really are a good actress, I'll give you that. You made me believed that I'm loved. -Chaeyoung.

"No! I'm serious right now! I love you." -Mina.

"So did I." -Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung suddenly removes herself being grasp by Mina's hand... Mina then proceeds to hug Chaeyoung from the back.

"Please!" -Mina, as she tightens the hug.

"Let go. You're embarrassing yourself" -Chaeyoung.

"I don't care!" -Mina.

"Please stop!" -Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung forcefully removes Mina's embrace and leaved. Mina was left sitting on the floor crying. Sana proceeds to comfort Mina.

"Let's go home." -Sana.

"Come on I'll drive."  -Sana, as she picks up Mina from the floor.

The two then enters the car and Sana drive Mina home.
