Chapter Ten

Cam's POV~

"So what do you want to do? We can do hair and makeup for the fun of it, do nails, watch movies, or play video games.?" I suggest. "Umm, how about all of the above" she says and smiles. "Of course" I say with a smile. "What first?" I ask. "Well, we can play games first so we don't mess up our nails." Liz says. "Okay" I say as I get the game ready and get our controllers, as I give Liz one. She takes the controller and gets ready. The game start and we both race around the track as fast as we can, to be the winner. We get really into the game, then all of a sudden the power goes out. "What the hell, I was about to win!" Liz yells as I laugh at her. I grab my phone and turn the flashlight on, since it's now dark without the power on. "Let's go see what's up." I say as I point my flashlight to the door as Liz walks close behind me. We go downstairs and realize that there's no power whatsoever, anywhere in the house. "What happened?" Liz asks me quietly. "I have no idea..." I say to her. We go and find my parents in the living room as I ask them what's going on. "Haven't you heard the thunder and rain outside? There's a thunderstorm and it's really bad so lighting must have struck an electrical power source, and now we don't have electric." my dad said. Just then the boys come up and ask the same thing, as our dad explains it once again. "Oh damn" Grayson says. "Language" my mother says and Liz giggles lightly. "So what do we do now?" Liz says. "Yeah, how do we live without our video games!?" Ethan exclaims. "Go hang out in the basement. I'll bring you guys candles as your mom and I stay up here." our dad says. "So much for our girls night" Liz says but laughs. "I'm sorry, Liz" I say as I felt bad. "No, no it's fine. Let's go downstairs." Liz says as Gray, Ethan, Liz, and I go downstairs, holding our phones for flashlights.

Lizzy's POV~

We go downstairs and sit on the couch. Sean comes down and gives us lit up candles for some kind of light as we set them on the coffee table. We just sit and wait for one of us to say something. "So what are we gonna do while the powers out?" I ask. "I honestly have no idea..." Grayson and Ethan say. "You Cam?" "Umm the only thing I can think of is truth or dare or would you rather or something like that..." Cam says. "I vote for would you rather because there's no way I'm playing truth or dare" I say as we all chuckle. "Cam, you go first and we all have to answer what we would rather do" I say as I look at her in the dimly lit room. "Okay, let me think.... Would you rather.... Have to eat a spoonful of dog food or eat a spoonful of mayo?" She says and laughs lightly. "Definitely a spoonful of dog food" Gray and Ethan say right away. "Mayo for me. At least it's for humans to eat, not dogs, but either way it's gonna be disgusting" I say. "Okay, Liz you go now" Cam says to me. "Okay, would would you rather spend a day with, out of your siblings? So Cam- E or Gray, Gray- E or Cam, and Eth- Cam or Gray?" "Ethan for sure, no offense Cam" Gray says as Ethan says "Yeah, Gray for me obviously, sorry Cam." Ethan says. "Okay, I feel the love" Cam says as she giggles lightly. "If it makes you feel better, I'd pick you Cam" I say and smile to her as they boys look offended. I look at them and laugh. "Because I can't pick just one of you weirdo's. It's both or none" I say as they look relived. "I was gonna say" They say at the same time as I laugh. "Cam you never answered! Me or Gray?" Ethan says as he looks at Cam. "Umm, neither. You guys are lame." She says as they say "hey, that's a lie" "is it though?" I say and laugh as they start tickling me as they know that's my weakness. "I'm just kidding! Stop!" I say between laughs. They stop and hold me still so I can't move. "Then say "The Dolan Twins are the coolest people to hang out with and are NOT lame" They say as I keep laughing. "Fine, fine! The Dolan Twins are the coolest people to hang out with and are NOT lame" I say as I laugh as they let go. "Sike!" I say as I run from them. They start chasing me around the basement as they catch me and hold me as we are all laughing. "Okay, okay I was joking, you guys are the bestest best friends ever and are not lame!" I say as I laugh. "Mhmm, we know" They say as they let me go and high five each other as they flip their non-existent long hair over their shoulders. "Whatever weirdos" I say as I laugh. "I was joking by the way. I'd pick Gray sorry E" Cam says. "So rude" Ethan says in a funny voice as we all laugh, including him. After playing the game for a while, we decided to go to bed as we are all gonna sleep in the basement. I went to sleep thinking to myself that although I didn't have a girl's night, it did turn out to be a good night.
