A Tiara And A Locket

Marionette's POV:

Papa\uncle went upstairs and both I and maman\aunt followed him to my room. "What are doing here?" I asked.
Uncle then said,"You'll see..." He pressed his ear against my floor and tapped on it with his knuckles. He kept tapping,pressing and moving until....*tap tap tap*, he found a hollow spot which was located against the corner wall of my room. My mouth hung open when he removed the piece of board as it revealed two boxes with Chinese engravings on the top. Uncle then held the largest of the two boxes.

He then opened it revealing..........

"It's beautiful! But isn't it a bit plain for a crown princess's tiara?" I asked.
"Oh no! This is your training tiara. So you'll wear it when your training to be a princess." Auntie said.
"Wait....what! So I'm going to be taking up the responsibility of China's Crown Princess with only two months worth of training?!" I screamed due to panic.
"Shh! Not so loud honey."my new found auntie warned,"And don't worry you're just learning the basics and then you can learn the harder stuff when you have a council of your own so they can all teach you. Ok?"
"Ok" I calmed down. I picked up the tiara and examined it. All the diamonds were real! Wow! "Thanks, but what's in the other box?" I asked as I put the tiara back in it's box. I can see that Auntie hesitated for a moment. She then sighed and said,"Ok.... This you're gonna have to promise me to wear this an never take it off. This is a family heirloom i t was passed down from generation to generation of crowned princesses. "
"That's right," uncle said,"This was a major KEY in all of  the past princesses' lives. They say it helps them to protect their people and helps them know who they truly are inside. Ha they even say it helps them with new special  abilities." I nodded my head not knowing what to think. By the way did he just emphasize on the word key? Eh anyway auntie the took the box out...................

.................................and opened it...

"Wow! It's beautiful! I can't believe something like this has ever been made! Wow just wow.." I  commented. Who would of ever thought that I would own such a thing. I took it out of the box and slipped it around my  neck. Auntie then held the pendant that was around my neck and tucked it under my shirt.
"Now remember Mari dear that no one can know that you have the locket except for you're parents but you must also take the tiara with you and hid it. Oh! And you and you're class will be staying in the palace. So that if there is any mischief taking place it will be right under my sister's nose. I understand there is a certain blonde who likes to make a lot of mischief." Auntie gave me a little wink. I laughed hard. "Hahaha! Any ways so I was thinking...since my mom was a princess and you're her sister which made you a princess as well. And now she's well a queen.....what's you're status?" I asked.
"Oh!" She replied,"I'm a Duchesses which makes Tom a Duke."
"Cool!" I said.
"Alright I think it's time to go to bed you've had an exciting day and then you're gonna have a busy day tomorrow." Auntie said. I nodded and headed straight up to my room.
*In Marinette's Room*

"Oh Tikki did you hear that conversation? I'm a princess!" I squealed.
"I heard!" Tikki squeaked," This is so exciting! Which is why you have to get to sleep to wake up early in the morning. "  I nodded,brushed my teeth and went to sleep.
