You walk out of your school building feeling crappy as usual, and if that wasn't bad, it was raining. You put your (H/C) hair in a bun and put your hood over it. You start to walk trying to keep your glasses clean as they get covered in mist and rain. You lose your sight for a moment, along with you're bag. "Oh dang it!" You get down on your knees and desperately try to pick up all of your notes before they're ruined in the rain. After finally stuffing all of them in your bag, you take the back way home to avoid running into anybody. You go in through the back gate and let yourself in through the back door. You put your bag on the kitchen table and take off your jacket. You begin to brew some tea and bring your bag to the living room and to the kotatsu table.

You gently lay out all of the notes on the table, trying very hard not to rip them. They were already bleeding anyways. After getting the tea, you sit under the kotatsu table and try to make sense of the notes, hoping you could still read them. Once you've gotten comfortable, there is a knock at your door. You've got to be kidding me! You reluctantly get up and go to the door and look through the peep hole, but all you see is a figure with a jacket over their head. Who is that? They're just standing there...I can't leave them in the rain! You cracked the door open ever so slightly and the figure belted out, "____! Thanks for answering dude!"

You recognized that voice, "America...?" you say squinting.

"Yeah dude!" he says smiling. Without even asking, he walks into your house and takes his jacket off and puts it on the coat rack.

You close the door and ask, "Just exactly why are you here?"

He takes his shoes off in the entry and sits under the kotatsu table, "Rain sucks...and it sucks even more when you're alone in it. So I came here! We could keep each other company!" he says with a huge smile.

You sigh heavily, and here I thought he needed my help. "I'll go get you some tea," you say as you walk back to the kitchen.

"Sweet please!" you hear him call. You pour Alfred a cup of hot tea and put three lumps of sugar in it, just how he likes it. You smile at knowing this little fact about him. And suddenly your smile fades. You never understood why you loved being around Alfred, you just did. And every time you learned something about him, you made sure to make a mental note of it. Why? You've never known, and you probably never will. You emerge out of the kitchen with his tea and some jelly buns for the two of you. When you notice Alfred studying the notes on the table. "They got ruined in the rain," you say as you hand him his tea and set the jelly buns down.

"I tried to make some of them out and I put them in the same categories, or at least the ones i could read."

"Oh Alfred, you didn't have to do that" you say as he continues to sort them.

"Sure I did dude! I did come here uninvited, the least I could do was help you with this," he says as he goes to drink his tea.

"Careful it's h-"

"argh!" he grunts as he burns his lip.

You chuckle, "its hot." You rush to the kitchen and come back with a wet rag. "here," you gently push the cold rag against his lip. You look up at Alfred, meeting his eyes that were already focused on you. "Alfred? You alright?"

"I'm just admiring your nurturing side," he says still staring at you.

You feel your face get hot and look away, "here, you can hold it," you say letting go of the rag and start examining the notes.
