You sat down in your kitchen, sipping on a hot cup of cocoa. It was a nice, breezy Saturday morning, and you wanted to spend the whole day being lazy. You walked out into the living room and turned your T.V. on. You normally didn't watch it, but you might as well have some noise going on. Suddenly, your phone began to buzz. You picked it up and the caller I.D. read "Ger-Meanie" the nickname you had given your best friend Ludwig when you were kids. You laughed slightly at the joke and answered. Your sweet voice tweeted, "Hello~?"

 "____(Y/N)___!" His loud voice belted, "I'M COMING OVER!" He yelled into the phone once more before hanging up.

 You held your ear and set your phone down. "What the hell...?" You mumbled. You reluctantly got up to go put on decent clothes and make yourself look presentable. From your years of knowing Ludwig, you knew he wasn't coming over for a tea party.

 Not too long later, you heard a knocking at the door. You quickly finished putting your eyeliner on and ran downstairs, opening the door for your guest. Ludwig trudged in and plopped face first into your couch, with his long legs coming off the sides. You sat on the love seat next to him and smiled, "Come on in."

 "Now vis not the time for your sarcasm!" He yelled muffled in the couch. 

 "Well maybe if you told me why you're being such a baby, I wouldn't have to be sarcastic!" You retaliated. He shot up, his eyebrows furrowed with anger. You sighed and got up, brushing your pants off. "I'm going to make some coffee, then you can wail all you want." You said as you walked into the kitchen.

 You came out with two cups and set one down in front of him and curled up on the end of the couch. "Now tell me whats wrong," you said tentatively.

 He took a gulp of the coffee and sighed, "I...Vhi got laid off at vhork.." He said staring at the floor.

 You tilted your head and sighed, "Ludwig, I'm sorry about that. Look, I really am. But it's nothing to be this upset about." He just shook his head without looking back at you. You smiled and took his hand, "Look, we can go out today! Go hit the malls and see a movie and eat weird food! Just to get your mind off of things, how does that sound?"

 He shrugged and said, "Are you sure?"

 You nodded happily and got up, "Just let me change into some shorts and a cuter shirt!" You said as you went upstairs back to your room. You returned with black shorts, a white lacy white tank top with a jean jacket over it, and your white Vans. A small smile rose on Ludwig's face as he watched you come down the stairs. "You ready?" You asked as you grabbed your house keys.

 "Vhait.." He said looking at you.

 You turned to him with your eyebrows up, "Yeah?" Ludwig made his way over to you and put a hand on your pony tail. "What are you..?" You said as he began to pull the rubber band out of your hair, making your long (H/C) hair fall down. "Ludwig!" You whined, upset that he messed your hair up.

 "If you have your hair like that...Vhen your ears vill get cold," He finally said.

 You felt your self blush as you cleared your throat and turned around, "Thanks bud! Now lets go!" You chimed as you walked out of the house with Ludwig behind you.

 The whole day seemed to get brighter and better with every passing moment. Ludwig was actually having fun and laughing, and you were glad that your weren't stuck at home in sweats and messy hair. You two decided to wind down a bit and visit a cute little bakery/cafe for lunch. You two ordered your food, got drinks, and sat down on the patio outside. You both sat in blissful silence, nither of you needing to talk. Ludwig finally piped up saying, "Vhanks for this...Vhi needed it."

 You smiled sweetly and took a sip of your tea, "No problem Luddy~ This was good for both of us."

 He smiled and nodded, agreeing with you. Once you got your food, you two ate in more silence. Once you paid and left, it was back to little shops and stands. You stopped in your tracks and gasped, seeing a necklace that was beautiful. "Oh Ludwig! Look how pretty it is!" It was a goldish-copper colored treble clef on a long gold chain.

 Ludwig looked at it for a minute and asked the cashier, "How much?"

 She smiled and said, "Ten dollars please."

 Ludwig paid and you were smiling as the woman wrapped it up and gave it back to him. You reached out to grab the necklace but Ludwig stuck it in his pocket, and walking ahead. You had a confused face as you followed Ludwig, walking into the park. "Uh...Luddy? Could I have that necklace..?" You asked finally.

 He sat down on a bench and laughed, "Who said this vhas for you?"

 You scoffed and pushed him, "Ludwig! I wanted that necklace first! You can't just take it from me after I saw it! Plus it's a girls necklace! It would serve no purpose to you!" You whined. He sighed heavily, covering his ears to block you out. You growled and got closer to his face, "I know you can hea-" you were suddenly cut off by soft lips on yours. You blinked, rekindling your thoughts and realizing, Ludwig was kissing you! He pulled back, not saying a word. You sat in utter disbelief at what he had just done.

 He smiled and whispered, "This necklace isn't just for you. Its for my girlfriend~" He finished as he put the necklace around your neck nodding, meaning it looked nice.

 "Ludwig.." You said faintly, blush spreading across your face.

 He smiled and whispered again in his thick German accent, "Vhi love you~" You stayed silent with even more blush growing on your cheeks. He kissed you again, and you wrapped your arms around his neck. Maybe this wasn't a mistake. Maybe this was meant to be..? Your mind raced with these questions as you were lost in your embrace with your one and only, Ger-Meanie.
