"Frankie we need to tell her" I ran my fingers through my hair aggressively and smacked my hands down on the marble counter, clearly upset.

"It will break her heart" Frankie whispered. He was indeed right. It would break Camilla's heart, but she needed to know the truth. We can't face lying to her anymore.

"I know it will" I sat down and rubbed my temples. All this stress was killing me. I haven't even made any new singles since 2016.

"But she needs to know, before things get worse" Frankie nodded his head in agreement and ran his fingers through his dyed hair.

He took a deep breath, then the door clicked open. Frankie and I both turn our heads towards the door and see a happy Camilla with her usual happy face on.

"Hey guys!" Camilla said letting her backpack drop to the floor and running towards the fridge. She opened the fridge and took out a Fiji water. She twisted the cap and took a sip, then wiped her mouth.

"Hey Cami" Frankie said letting a small smile form. I smiled also and looked down and traced my finger along the marble counter slowly.

"We have news to tell you" Frankie blurted out. I looked back up and saw Camilla in a chair on the other side of the counter. Across from Frankie and I.

"What's up?" She asked. She tapped her fingers against the water bottle, making her own beat to it. Frankie looked over at me and nodded his head slowly, telling me it's my turn to talk.

"They found mom" I said letting my smile drop. Her eyes widened and she smiled happily. She got off the chair and started jumping up and down.

"THIS IS AMAZING!" She screamed on the top of her lungs. "we need to throw the best welcome back party ever!" She exclaimed.

"Camilla" I said. "Then we need to invite the whole neighborhood, so they can welcome back mom to" she stopped jumping. "We also need lots of decorations!" She explained.

"Camilla" I said a bit louder this time. "I haven't seen her in five months!" Camilla explained taking a sip of her water.

"CAMILLA!" I screamed. She looked over at me and cocked a eyebrow confused. "What?" She asked sitting back down.

"It's not the good kind of found" I explained. She squinted her eyes obviously confused. Frankie took a deep breath.

"They found her in a lake dead, five months ago" Frankie explained. Camilla's smile dropped immediately.

"She's dead!" She shrieked, Frankie and I nodded our heads. Camilla broke down into tears. For the past five months she's been hoping for mom to come back, but Frankie and I couldn't bear to tell her.

"I can't believe you lied to me" she wiped her tears with her thumb and looked at us disappointed. "You could've told me the truth" she whispered.

"Camilla, we didn't want to see you upset" Frankie said grabbing her hand and squeezing it tightly. Camilla jerked her hand away from Frankie and placed both of her hands in her lap.

"Did they have a funeral?" Camilla asked looking up at us, you could see the redness around her eyes and the mascara that's on the bottom of her eyelids.

"We weren't planning on doing one" Camilla looked at me like I was crazy. "Why not?" Camilla said in a furious tone.

"Because I knew you wouldn't want to see her lifeless body in that casket!" I yelled covering my face and crying, Frankie rubbed my back.

"I want to have a funeral" Camilla whispered, I didn't look up because I didn't want to face her at this moment that's when I had to let the parent side come into play.

"Go to your room" it was hard to hear because my voice was muffled. "What?, Why?" Camilla asked. I looked up at her.

"Go to your room now!" I yelled pointing to the hall where her room was. She got off the chair and ran to her room, the next thing you heard was the door slam.

I took my hands off my face and looked up, I wiped the tears off my face with the back of my hand, Frankie took his hand off my back.

"I feel awful" I whispered. I looked over at Frankie who was looking down staring at the counter for a long period of time, like he was trying to win a staring contest.

"You did the right thing" he took his eyes off the counter and looked back up at me with a small smile. I smiled softly and hugged Frankie.

"Go take a nap, I'll order a pizza" Frankie said getting off the stool. He grabbed his phone.

"Frankie?" He looked up at me waiting for me to say what I wanted to say. I smiled.

"Don't forget the salad"
