"Oh...my...gosh!" Maddie squealed. "He's totally checking you out, Brina!"
"Huh?" I asked, removing my headphones.
"Ugh, seriously Bri? Please tell me you're not watching..."
"The Dolan twins? Yeah, I am. I mean, it is Tuesday," I state matter-of-factly, struggling to keep myself from laughing at Maddie's disgusted face.
"Well, do you mind joining reality again? Because Bryce Andrews literally cannot keep himself from looking at you," Maddie says rolling her eyes and smiling.
Sure enough, from across the quad, I could see Bryce and his "bros" hanging out. And just as Maddie said, he was staring straight at me, the sun making his stunning blue eyes twinkle.

"I mean I suppose he's kinda cute, but he's no Ethan Dolan," I say smirking.
"Girl....stop." Maddie says dead-faced. "I hate to break it to you, but you and Ethan are not gonna be a thing so just take the next best, which is Bryce."
"Ouch," I smirk, getting up from our table in the shade. "I'm going...I'm going." I start my trek across the sun-kissed quad, weaving through the other high schoolers at lunch and occasionally waving at someone I knew until I got to where Bryce and his buds were.
"Well...well...well. If it isn't THE Sabrina Elliot, gracing us all with her presence," Eric, one of Bryce's friends, teased making Caleb, Seth, and Bryce chuckle.
"Oh shut up Eric," I laughed, playfully punching his arm. As he grabbed his arm in fake pain, Bryce walked over and put his arm around me.
"Hey Bri," he said, grinning like a goof.
"Hey yourself Andrews," I smiled as I pushed him. I have to admit, Maddie was kinda right about him being cute. Although, I'm not really sure about him being my type. I mean, the boy has NOTHING on Ethan Dolan, but I guess he's nice to look at.
After a few minutes of conversing with the boys, I felt a buzz in my back pocket. I assumed it was Maddie just begging for the juicy details about what was happening with Bryce (ugh that girl cannot help herself), but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a notification from YouTube.
"Oh..my..GOSH!" I fangirl screamed, whipping out my headphones and clicking the notification.
"What's wrong Brina?" Bryce asked, a concerned look on his face.
"The Dolan Twins posted another video," Maddie said as she walked over rolling her eyes. I guess she heard me screaming from across the quad. Then again, who didn't?
After school, I went walking home with Bryce since we've been neighbors for years. We walked in silence, both of us with our earbuds in, listening to music. I couldn't stop thinking about the Dolan Twins. I mean, they just announced that they were going on tour but there is no way in hell I'll ever be able to go. But it's always nice to dream about it, especially about meeting Ethan. If onl-

""Hey, Brina?" Bryce asked, that goofy grin returning to his face.
"What's up Andrews?" I asked, taking out my earbuds and putting my phone away.
"So you know how we have that Juniors only Gatsby dance in a few months?"
"Yeah Bryce, it's like the only thing people are talking about." I say with a smirk as I playfully bump him with my shoulder.
He suddenly stops walking and I pause next to him. I can feel his hand slip into mine.
"I was wondering if you would go with me. But not just as my date...as my girlfriend."
I look into his eyes and I can tell he really means it. I've known him for so long and even if he may hang out with fuckboys I know for a fact that he's not one. I don't even think he's had a girlfriend, but I've never had a boyfriend so who am I to-
"Um, Sabrina?" Bryce asks, pulling me out of my deep thoughts yet again.
"You know what? I'd love to," I say, pulling him into a hug.
"Okay," he says, pulling me in tighter. Gosh, I bet he has the goofiest smile right now.
After Bryce walked me home, I went upstairs to my room to do some homework. I was just finishing up my Calculus homework when I heard a soft knock on my door.
"Come in," I said not looking up from my textbook.
"How's my little sis doin?" my older sister Eliza asked, plopping down on my bed.
"I mean, I got a boyfriend so pretty good I'd say," I respond, feeling myself blushing wildly about the thought of Bryce.
"Well, that's great, but your day is gonna be a million times better after what I tell you," she says smiling wildly.
"Ugh Liza, what did you do and who will I have to lie to?" I ask, knowing my sisters antics.
"I'm a little offended but you'll take all back because...I GOT YOU 4OU TICKETS!!!!"
I dropped my textbook to the floor.
