Erica Swan. Adopted, while being the only and eldest daughter of the Swan family. Along with her younger adopted sister, Amanda who was later raised with Amanda's non-biological sister, Isabella.

The three siblings were close. Thought not related by blood they went through everything together. Even during the hard times when they were faced with the hardships of their parents' bitter divorce.

After their parents had split the Swan siblings decided to stay with their mother in the blistering heat of Phoenix, Arizona. Then on later occasions they visited their father, Charlie who lives in the bitter cold and gloomy Forks, Washington. Though the weather was a damper on the eldest Swan; Erwin didn't mind visiting her dad for some quality ' father and daughter' time.

It was finally that time of the year again, Erica and her sisters were heading back to Forks. The eldest Swan had just finished nursing school in Arizona, so her father suggested applying as a part time school nurse at Forks High where her two sisters will be attending school.

So Erica gladly accepted, only later not knowing that this special job she had applied for would be working besides a handsome doctor with skin being as white as snow, whose eyes shined like golden treasure when they first met. Two worlds that slowly had just collided, forever..
