Chapter 13

Zaria's POV

The next morning I woke up and thought back to yesterday afternoon when I kissed Chris. Did that mean that I forgave him? I didn't know yet.

I did my usual routine and put on my outfit that I had laid out for school today (all outfits are in the MM section) and I put my hair up in two Princess Leia style buns. I put on some mascara and my eos lip balm and I left out to go pick up Mj.

Tasonna's POV

As I finished tying up my Vans, I looked around my messy room, lately I've been throwing off my normal routine to party, and hang out with Dee. I shook my head.

As I got to my car, I sat in the drivers seat and tossed my bag into the passenger seat. I put on my seatbelt and drove out the driveway.

Mj's POV

As I got out of Zee's car I quickly applied some more lip gloss onto my lips. Today I was wearing an actual dress and I know, I should be used to wearing them but I'm still not.

As we got into the school building everyone mingled in the hallway, well just the seniors since it was our last year, we didn't have to go to the cafeteria or gym, we could walk the halls until the bell rung for us to go to class.

I stopped by the library to pick up a biography of some person I had to do for a history project, when suddenly, a cute Spanish boy came by me looking at a book too.

Well hey, Jaquan ain't ask me out so technically I'm still single, I thought to myself as I fluffed out my curls and tapped the boy's shoulder.

"Hey, I'm Mj, what's your name?" I asked as I put on the charm.

"I'm Brandon, hey I know you, aren't you that girl that's dating Jaquan?" He asked.

I blushed. "Actually no not yet... But hopefully."

"You wouldn't want to go out with Jaquan anyways, he treats his girlfriends bad." Brandon said to me seriously.

"Oh really now! Please tell me more," I said as I took a seat and so did Brandon.

"Well Jaquan flirts with a girl, then he asks her out, then he dates her, kisses her, tell her the most lies to her face, then he gets her to have sex with him, which leads into him and her breaking up the next day." Brandon rattled off the list.

I kept myself calm and cool and tried not to cry. "Really? That's crazy..." I bit my lip.

"Yeah I just wanted to give you a heads up in case anything serious happens between you and Jaquan," he said sweetly.

"Mhmmm thanks for the tip," I said as I grabbed up my bag and hurried out the library.

The tears started falling slowly. I really thought that Jaquan was going to be "the one."

Zaria's POV

At my locker I dug in my bag for a piece of paper I needed to give to my teacher just so that he would leave me the hell alone.

As I squatted down by my locker, digging through the papers, I felt hands gently covering my eyes.

"Guess who," the voice said enchantingly.

"Chris c'mon now stop I'm looking for something," I said as I pushed his hands off of me.

"Zaria, what's wrong? Yesterday we kissed and made up and now you don't even want to look at me or talk to me. Like did I do something cause-" I cut him off and kissed him and then pulled away. I smiled.

"There, now you can stop worrying because I'm not mad just busy." I said pointing at the papers in my locker.

"Oh ok! But don't think that your getting a free pass on that kiss. Can I return the favor later with something else..." He asked as he bit his lip and looked down at me.

"I'll think about it," I said and slammed my locker door shut and walked off, as I gave him something to stare at.

Tasonna's POV

In Math class, while I was supposed to be learning geometry, my phone buzzed with a text from Dee.

Dee: hey Sonna u want to come over later on and chill with me?

Me: uhh kml y?

Dee: nothing nasty, just watch some movies and hang for a bit

Me: I'll see what I can do..

Dee: bae c'mon it'll be fun we'll spend more time together I mean there's a lot I want to talk to u about

Me: about whet? Kml uhh sure whet time u want me to come over?

Dee: at 5 or 6 either is fine lol

Me: kml ok I'll be there around 5:30, k?

Dee: k. Yesssuhh get to see my bae after school

Me: kml u silly but ttyl

Dee: :*

So it was official, this would be my first time going over to Dee's house. Now how am I gonna tell my dad this....
