Hello everyone!! I am a girl that is 13 years old. And now, this is my story. Please enjoy!!

Mother had told me not to touch anything sharp that I see. I was always careful. But now, I am standing here right in front of the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. A spindle. The whole spindle was made of gold. The tip was so sharp that you could hardly see it. I walked towards it. Should I touch it? Should I touch it? I wondered again and again. Finally, I made my decision. Mother said not to touch it. She has her reason, right? So, I am not going to do it. I turn away from it and went to my room. I went to my bed and slept.

The next morning. . .

"Mom!!!" Karen called. It was my sister. (Younger sister) I hate her. She whines every time when she gets hurt in a just a tiny, tiny, bit like a papercut! That is just a cut that will happen in all your life!!! And the problem is the word, YOUNGER. You know, if you have an older brother or a sister, you think they are the best because they are older. Well, sisters and brothers, NO!! DO NOT EVER THINK ABOUT THAT!! The thing I hate is our clothes. You are supposed to get new clothes when you are older, but my Mom!, She lets Karen get new clothes and I have to get clothes from an older sister in our neighborhood!!! I HATE my sister Karen. She gets EVERYTHING!!!! URGG!! Oh. . . sorry. We are totally off our topic. Let's continue our story.

"Mom!!!!!!" Karen called.

"What's wrong my dear!?" Mom shouted back from downstairs.

"The spindle in our house is... is. . " Karen's voice grew smaller and smaller.

"Is what!!??" Mom shouted harder.

"Is. . SPINNING!!!!!!!!!" Karen shouted so harder than ever.

"I couldn't believe it. I thought she was lying but I really wanted to see if they are moving. So I ran to her room. It wasn't moving!! I knew she would lie!! But. . I didn't know... I had a weird feeling about the spindle. I told my mother that it wasn't moving, but then Karen started to cry. "It moved!!! It did!!" I helped her come down and asked my mom if I can leave this spindle in my room which she said ok. Of course, she told me as always, be careful.

I shouldn't have moved the spindle to my room. I shouldn't have. If I only knew. . If I only knew. . . that THIS would be happening to me. . .

That night, our family gave me a present. My birthday present. My birthday was on Wednesday and today was Monday. I was so excited that I forgot about the spinning wheel.

Now I can doubt that it was spinning every time when we ate and celebrated our birthday presents.

Oh! And I forgot to tell you this but I have an older brother. You are probably saying WHAT? Because I never talked about him. He is going to be very important in this story. He is the best. I LOVE him! He is so kind! He cares for us! He gets really worried if I get hurt! I actually love him! He is the best brother I have! Sadly, later on, I am telling you this but we started to fight. My heart is broken. It was our first fight. Never mind! That's for later on the story! Never mind!

That night. . .

"Good night," Mom said to me, my brother, and Karen. (My brother's name is Jake)

"Good night Mom," Jake replied and went to our room. Jake and I share one room.

Karen has a room for herself!! She is born so lucky! I wish I was her!!

"Karen, I will be there to help you clean out your blankets. Wait at your room," Mom said to her.

"Ok, Mom!," Karen cried with joy. Mom helps her once a month and Karen loves when Mom helps her. Karen is lucky again!!

"Good night, Mom," I said.

"Good night, sweet pie" Mom said and kissed my forehead. So I went to our room and slept.

12:00. . . .

"Jake!!!! Wake up!!!!" I whispered to him in his ear. I cried and cried. So then, he finally woke up.

"Yea?" Jake asked me with a tiny voice.

"The. . . the. . the spindle is moving!" I cried in a very small voice I can.
