Chapter 1

" don't forget to have him ice his cheek " coach Kerr told me and I smiled and saluted him cause yup I was weird . " no problem, I'll see you at 7 am sharp " I stated while going to walk out to the parking and strangely coach followed me "you know Isabelle they're doing an internship with the athletic trainers and I think you'd be great for it ?" He suggested and I didn't say anything " what do you think ?" He asked now and I sighed " Umm id have to talk to my dad but I'd love it " I shrugged and he hummed " izzie are you okay , I kinda thought you'd be more excited ?" He asked and I felt bad cause I didn't want to be rude and I was very interested in what he was saying it was just I was so dang tired.
" coach I'm so tired , I'm sorry for being all bleh , thank you for telling me I'll be very happy to do that " I smiled and he smiled back  " you're fine sweetheart , I know you've had a rough night with your dad , get some rest and sleep on it okay ?" Coach asked as we were basically outside now and Klay was waiting for me " okay I'll see you " I waved before walking outside and he nodded waving.
I frowned when I saw my dads face , there was a bruise on his chin and cheek , that's what Kerr was talking about. " how are you feeling " I asked walking over to him and he yawned then whined " I'm okay " he said high pitched and kissed my head before we started walking to the car .
" you need ice " I looked up at him while we walked and I frowned even more and stopped him " and boo boo kisses " I put my hand on his cheek leading him to put his head down and I kissed his cheek making him smile.
" thank you princess " he giggled unlocking the doors .
I decided that I should talk to him now about the internship .
" so Umm coach was talking to me and he wants me to apply for the athletic trainer internship " I said hopeful and he didn't exactly seem to be quite as excited " Umm yea that's cool , you can " he shrugged sounding so 'whatever' to me.
" Umm okay or not I don't have to that's cool to sorry " I shrugged mumbling and he started the car " Isabelle I want you to do this its just " he trailed off and I grinned " it's just what ?" I asked crossing my arms " well It's just I don't know you can do it " he said again sighing " dad talk to me " I touched his shoulder and he just shook his head and turned the radio on .
" can I play music ?" I asked timidly and he didn't say anything just shook his head yes. I put on sleeping at last even though I knew Klay didn't really love it but it was calming .
" do you want to go somewhere to eat sweetheart ?" He looked over to me and I shrugged " Hmm BTOs ?" I asked and he smirked "frozen yogurts not a meal brat" he started to lighten up " if you eat enough it can be " I made him laugh " maybe next time , how about ummm in and out ?"  He shot me a look and my favorite song came on and I practically ignored him and started singing the song .
"So inn and out ?" He asked again and I gave him thumbs up . " you know you sing good you probably get it from me " he said starting to sing horribly and I smirked " noooo " I covered my ears and he frowned " I'm not that bad " he sighed "okay " I said high and he grinned " brat " he mumbled under his voice while we pulled up to in and out burger .
We went inside cause thankfully it was late and nobody was there but us and we ordered then sat down smack down in the middle.
"So what's the reason I can't do this internship ?" I asked and he sighed " well , I don't want you to grow up to fast " he looked down and I smiled " awwww that's so sweet , dad im always going to be your little girl " I touched his hand and he gently took it kissing it then they called out number so he got up.
We didn't talk too much just ate then left , I didn't have much going through my mind since I was so darn tired .
" you okay ?" Klay asked as we got in the car and I shook my head " yea I'm just tired , how's your face ?" I asked yawning and he stupidly touched it " owe , it hurts " he frowned and I giggled " don't touch it , when we get home you need to Ice it and take some Tylenol " i instructed making him giggle as he turned on the car " you know what you should get that internship " he said making me smile.
" really ?" I got excited and he shook his head " I don't think I'm being a great father by holding you back ." He glanced over at me quickly. " thank you daddy " I kissed his head since his cheek was hurt then the phone started ringing over the stereo and my boyfriends name popped up .
" dad?" He asked , yes he calls him dad we've been together for three years .
" you okay ?" Klay answered " yea I'm good I just wanted to make sure you where okay , I kept calling Isabelle but she didn't answer " Finn stated " sorry baby I wasn't paying attention but I'll call you when I get home okay ?" I asked " okay cool we'll talk then love you "
" love you too " I said and he hung up .
"He's my favorite " klay scoffed and I smiled " yea me too "  I agreed and it was pretty silent till we got to the house and Finns  car was there.
I hurried into the house , I hadn't seen finn in a month due to the movie he was filming at the moment . 
When I walked in Finn was standing there with a ice pack and the goofy smile I loved so much .
" thought you could use a hand " he said smooth and I dropped my bag running over to him nearly tackling him but luckily he was strong and caught me as I wrapped my legs around his waist making him drop the ice pack as he spun me around .
"I've missed you to baby girl " he said and tried to put me down but I wouldn't let go till my dad came in .
" what's this , it looks awesome " my dad said walking in and I got confused and walked over to where he was and there was three brownies with ice cream on them  and I looked at finn .
" you're the best , common , come sit down " I said sitting down and he smiled walking over giving the ice pack to my dad . " thanks , so how's the movie going ?" He asked and Finn sat next to me and shrugged " alright I have two days off then one more week of filming and I'll be back for good ."  he smiled and I smiled too .
