The man said while monitoring the footage.

Wendy kissed Seulgi's cheek.

Where are they!?
Seulgi tried to free herself though she knew it wouldn't do anything.

They're in the torture room. Do you want to see them?
With such a teasing voice, she opened the monitor.

The monitor showed Seulgi's friends...her lover---all chained and in dreadful sweat. All of them looked brave and raged yet their eyes showed fright and loss of hope.

Wendy, please! Don't hurt them...please.
Seulgi pleaded though she knew Wendy didn't deserve it.

But it's part of the promise your friend just broke, honey.
Wendy confidently said as she walked back to where Seulgi was.

But I didn't. You said that you'd kill them all once I told Irene but I didn't.
Seulgi firmly stated, hoping she could play with Wendy's head.

Oh? So, what should I do? Hmm...
Wendy walked back and forth, still teasing her helpless prey.

Let's make a deal.
Seulgi challenged her.

Amused, she leaned closer to Seulgi, her smirk not leaving her face: What deal, then?

Holding in her tears, Seulgi tried to spill her offer: You let go of them and you can do whatever you want to me. Just...leave them alone and I'd do everything you want me to.

Wendy was taken aback but was obviously delighted of what she's hearing: Is that you, Kang Seulgi?

And she even smirked: Is this what love has led you? Really, I can't believe this is happening to you right now.

Of course, Seulgi was running out of patience! But who is she right now? She's nothing but Wendy's slave.

Although she really wanted to get that damn rope ripped off from her just to make Wendy faint and save them...she couldn't for she had no power. And it's all because everything was in Wendy's hands and not in theirs.

Wendy suddenly hit the chair where she was sitting---tied, rather: I told you, Seulgi! I already told you!

She even slapped Seulgi countless times:
Love would do you no good! Me! I'm the only one who can! I'm the best for you, Seulgi! You don't need love! YOU DON'T NEED HER!

At first, Seulgi was just being slapped, but now, she's being hit with a bat: But what did you do, huh? You chose love over me! You turned your back on me with those pathetic friends of yours. And of all people that you'd fall in love with...you fell in love with the kid I wholeheartedly shared my plans with that didn't even show any support!

She's already spitting blood but Wendy seemed to be driven mad by anger---she's driven mad by jealousy; that's why she couldn't control herself. She couldn't stop hurting the person she never admitted she's in love with for she never believed in love.

She threw the bat away, crying: I left you but I promised to come back and I did. I came back. But I came back for nothing! Because you! You ruined your promise! You fell in love and replaced me. You started to deny everything about me...you hated me. You started to hate me, Seulgi!
