Suspicious Killer

Chapter -6

I cried the entire night in the memories of ray , I was not fit for her love and care ,as I could not help her in any way . She had done so much for me but I did nothing rather than giving her pain .I had no idea of what was going on in and around me .

Tomorrow I have to meet charles son peter at any cost ,thought I . And by the time I climbed my bed trying to sleep it was already morning . This anonymous killer has killed my sleep now , said I in frustration and pushed the lamp on the table to the floor . It broke down to peices and peter and my mom came running after listening to the loud sound from my room .

What happened? are you ok Andrew ?- asked peter running into my room and my mom followed him.

No nothing just a small injury - said I wiping off the blood flowing from my hand  as one of the glass peices went into my hand .

This is a small injury - asked my mom angrily . She bought the first aid box from her room immediately and dressed my wound .

What the hell were you up to ? Can't you be careful? And why are fuming in anger - asked she cleaning all the blood flowing off my hand with a cotton .

Nothing , .....- said I and remained silent .

My mom cleaned up my wound and covered it with a band aid and turned towards peter by not uttering a word to me .

Take care of him peter and go accompany him everywhere and that is my order - said she and left the room.

Now it's moms order and I am not leaving you anywhere alone - said he by sitting besiDe me .

Peter just today, I have some work alone , from tomorrow you can join me wherever I go . Please - said I pleading him to leave me alone .

Ok fine but only today - said he placing a condition .

Of course - said I and lay on my bed . I had taken an off from office today as mom had restricted me from going out but I had to somehow leave the house tonight to meet charles at his home. I could not delay things anymore . I could not move out of the main door but I could get out of my room's window - thought I .

For Now I decided to sleep for a while to remain fresh tonight as I had not slept for the entire night . I closed my eyes and in no second I slept . I was that tired after yesterday night .

TRING TRING TRING TRING TRING ....

My phone rang continuously thus disturbing my sleep . I lifted it to see who it was and to my surprise it was charles .

Was he calling to cancel the plan again ,thought I and recieved the call .

Andrew are you coming today ?- asked charles

Yes I am coming today . Should I start now , are you back home ?- asked I immediately .

Yes I had called you to inform that I am back home and you can come now - said he .

Sure , thank you charles - said I and cut the phone. I immediately got off my bed and changed my dress . And as I had planned earlier I jumped off my room window to reach the parking area . I had placed some pillows on the bed and covered it with a bedsheet so that it looked as if I was sleeping. I called for a taxi as if I had taken the car, my mom would have found out that I had moved out . I gave the taxi driver the address and he drove me quickly to my destination . I reached his house by 25 minutes , paid the taxi driver and walked into his compound .

I knocked the door ,

A lady opened the door , I guess she was the maid of the house .

Yes sir , whom do you want to meet ?- asked the lady .
