Wendy shares a body with her symbiotic twin sister, Maw, whom she ate as a fetus. An orphan in a religious foster home, Wendy grows up under the care of the nuns, whose strict ways she has come to loathe. Her friends are terrific, however. And her amateur photography career is starting to really take off.
Until one of the cheerleaders transform into a warped hellspawn and try to kill her, that is.
Like that isn't traumatizing enough, strange powers start to manifest within Wendy, and the more she tries to suppress them, the stronger they become. Then there's the matter of the new kid, who's pretty much fixated on her all the time, and not in a good way.
Final year of middle school can be hard for some. For Wendy, it might just literally kill her.
