Question yourself, who has always been there for you? You would most likely answer your best friend or partner. But i mean from the very beginning.

Have you done wrong? I assume you have. You would most likely hide it from your parents because you know, that you're gonna get scolded.

But question yourself again, Why do they scold?

Its really simple. They love you. Your mother and father love you. It may not seem like it, you may feel unwanted, unloved but TRUST me, they really do love you. They bug you with the smallest things that it can even annoy you at times.

"Have you eaten?"

"Have you gotten enough sleep?"

It may seem small but it just shows how much they care. It sometimes seems like they're neglecting you but it can be the other way around!

They try to get close, but you shut them down. Be grateful that you even have parents, be grateful that they are still there. Whatever you have to say, trust me they will listen. No mother or father hates their own child. No matter what they say, they still care for you. Think back to when you were little. Who was always there to feed you? to listen to you? to give love to you?

You may not remember times when you were little but your parents do. Maybe when you were little, you cried a lot. Crying that was SO loud they couldn't sleep. Yet they stayed up and calmed you down until you fell back asleep.

Imagine life without your parents. The people who were always there for you all of a sudden just POOF. Would you be able to go on without them?

Imagine when your parents are standing at death's door. What would be their last thoughts? What if it was about you? They'll wish that they lived longer so they could keep caring for you. You have any idea how happy it makes them to hear the words "I love you mom/dad" ? It means the world to them. When its their final time and they think about you, they could even be thinking stuff like "Will he eat his meals properly? 3 times a day?" "Will he get enough sleep once i'm gone?" "Ahh I wish i could've seen him more.." "I wish he would open up to me more.."

Thats right, small stuff. They could be wishing they lived longer so they didn't have to feel the pain they were going through but instead they would think of you. Your well-being.

I'm gonna end it off here. My writing was probs not good but I hope I at least made you think about your parents more.
