The bell rang, signaling all the students to return to their classrooms, Yoongi has never heard that bell in 5 years, it's difficult to return to old schedule. Wait, so does this mean, I'm 15 again? Yoongi thought.
"Come on, I need to stick with you or else you'll be lost" Namjoon appeared and patted Yoongi's back. "I'll explain everything to you, don't worry, Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung were like this their first time too" Namjoon said with a light chuckle.
"So, first things first, I'll tell you everything about this Chorong. She's as popular as you were and as cold as you were, she'll smile but only to her friends. She's going through the exact same problems as you were" Namjoon said, explaining it all to me.
"Who is she dating?" Yoongi asked with a pained voice. "Lee Hoseok, better known as Lee Wonho. He's been by her side way longer before she met you. Childhood friends, if I might add" Namjoon said "but you'll get her, hopefully".
Yoongi looked down to his feet "I don't think I can do this". Namjoon hit his back, making a loud sound "Ack!" Yoongi exclaimed. "Don't say that, if you waste your time here not doing what you should, you're risking her life, not yours" Namjoon scolded Yoongi "If you don't want to do this, I can always send you back but you can't save her anymore".
Yoongi nodded "okay, I'll do this, I can do this".
"Wait, June 25, 2015. . . . crap" Yoongi's head shot up. "What's wrong?" Namjoon asked. "On this day, I attempted suicide on the rooftop and Chorong stopped me" he said. "At what time?" Namjoon asked.
"After the bell rang, which is a while ago. I have to go" Yoongi rushed and ran up the staircase to the rooftop where he saw Chorong standing on the edge of the railings, one step and she's gone.
"Chorong-ah!" Yoongi shouted and grabbed her hand. Her expression was shocked to see him stop her. "Don't do this" He held her hand tightly and she slowly got down from the high railing.
Chorong was crying so hard that she broke down to the ground.
"I just can't handle it anymore, everything just hurts so fudging much" she said in between sobs and tears. She was choking on every word and all Yoongi could do was sit and listen. It was the least he could do.
She didn't say anything specific or the cause of why she attempted suicide because Yoongi knew very well why he did it back then. His parents divorced, he gets neglected, and the constant yelling he received from his mom about his dad was never helpful.
Aftera while of crying, she looked up to him and said "why are you here? The bellrang, you should be in class". "So should you but here we are, skipping first period on the rooftop" Chorong scoffed at his words and looked away "I'm thankful that you helped me anyways"
But she had a point, 5 years ago, why did she stop him? Why wasn't she in class?, Yoongi wondered.
"Are you alright? I mean, no physical injuries?" He asked, helping her to her feet.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine" Chorong tucked strands of hair behind her ear and smiled at him. A half smile. His heart began to race, he wished she was in love with him already so he could just reach out and hug her. But at the moment, only he is deep in love.
"We should head back inside and just get to second period at least, come on, the height of the railings probably gave you a little shock. I'll take you to the infirmary" Yoongi said as he scratched his nape.
As soon as they reached the door to the infirmary, the bell rang and students rushed out of the classrooms. Coincidentally, Wonho came out of the classroom right next to the infirmary and rushed to Chorong's side and checked on her condition.
