Misconception

Anger rises as jealousy takes over

Beautiful brown eyes

Melt to glorious green

Irises like snake eyes

Heart rate quickens as frustration

Permeates throughout

Words like daggers as voices rise

And phrases spit like fire

Hatred burns brightly licking away

Happiness casting aspersions

And throwing accusations

Sentences cut deep like a double edged sword.

Fear is revealed as eyes slowly fade back to normal.

Jealousy has released its hold

And words go back to normal

Emotional bleeding begins to clot

But the wound so deep internal won't stop

Gentle kisses shower and hugs eternal

But its too late for a sorry

Because I forgive has fled

And jealousy won over a misconception.
