Lars X Reader (Steven Universe)

Chapter 1

Ok, before I start, I haven't seen every singe episode, so some things will be different, ok? Please...PLEASE don't judge, ok. Here we go!

You moved to Beach City with your mom, who really doesn't care about you too much. You were looking around after you were done unpacking, and you were craving sweets. "I wonder if they have a candy shop or something." You say to yourself, and go look around. You see a Donut place and go in. 

Inside, you saw a short blone girl, and next to her was a tall boy with orange hair, (I'll have Lars be pink later on) they seemed to be arguing. You clear your throat. "Excuse me." You say. They kept arguing. You were not patient. "HEY!!!" You yell, and they look at you, the boy seemed to blush a bit.

"Oh, hello miss, how can we help?" The girl asked. "I want something sweet please." You say a little bluntly. "You're in a donut shop, everything here is sweet." The boy said, being a smart alac, you giggle a bit. "I know, what's the special?" You ask, tilting your head. "Lars here can make you something, he's good at baking." The girl said. "S-sadie!" Lars said. "I wanna try it." You say, jumping up and down a bit, Lars sighs. "Fine." He said, and went to the back.

After a few hours, he came back with a cake. "Here." He said. "You can try it before paying." He added. You get a fork and try it. You loved it. "THIS TASTE SO AMAZING!! This has to be at least 50 bucks." You say, getting your wallet out. "More like 5." Lars said. "WHAT?! Something that amazing should be more! I'll give you $10 to pay, and 40 for a tip!" You say, handing him $50, he blushes a bit. "Um...thanks." Lars said. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N) by the way, I heard you two say each other's names, Lars and Sadie, right?" You ask, they nod. You look at the time. "I have to go, bye." You take the cake and go.

"She's very nice." Sadie said. "Yeah..." Lars said, smiling, Saide grins. "Someone has a crush on the new girl." She said, Lars blushes darkly. "N-no..." He lied, crossing his arms. [Of course I have a crush, she's beautiful, her long/short (H/C) hair...her (E/C) eyes...who couldn't fall in love?] Lars thought.

As you were heading home, you saw a boy with a star on his shirt. "Hello." He said. "Hey." You wave. "Where did you get that cake?" He asks. "I got it from the donut shop, a boy named Lars made it." You inform him, his eyes become stars. "Whoa! He baked for you?!" He asked, you nod. "Cool! I'm Steven by the way!" He said with a smile, you smile back. "I have to go, we can hang out tomorrow if you're not busy." You say, Steven nods. "Alright!" You two then went different ways.

Day 1 in Beach City had gone by, and you already made some friends...will one of them be more than a friend? Only time will tell...
