Lars X Reader (Steven Universe)

Chapter 4

You were in you bed asleep. Having a nightmare.

"Lars! Where are you?" You shouted, you then see Lars and he was being taken by a topaz and a aquamarine. "Let him go!" You yell, you reach over to your arm and grab a bow and arrows out of your gem, and start shooting at them. You missed and accidently hit Lars in the leg, and Topaz gets you as well.

You wake up, shaking. "I....I'm going to hurt Lars..." You say, and cry softly.
You see, your dreams are visions...only downside is they're not always good, so...yeah...

Anyway, you get out of bed and sneak out of the house, and try to find Lars'. You wanted to protect him as much as you could.

While you were looking, this pretty boy comes up to you in a yellow car. "Hey there sweet cakes, need a ride?" He asked. "Unless you know where Lars lives, no thanks." You say, and continue your search, the guy follows you. "Why would you want to hang out with a loser like him?" He asked. "You should hang out with me, Kevin, I'm way cooler." He added. 

You growled. You hated when your friends were made fun of. You take your hoodie off, and reach to your gem. "You're a gem too?" He asked, sounding a little annoyed. "You're cooler than that Clarence, or Steve-" Kevin started, but you pointed your bow at him. It had a arrow on it. "Insult my friends again...and I'll let this arrow go inbetween your eyes..." You threatened, he became scared. "U-uh...I'll take you to Lars." He said, you get in and he takes you to Lars' house, you put your bow and arrow in your gem.

Lars saw his car and goes outside. He then sees you get out of it. "(Y/N)? What are you doing with him?!" Lars asked. "He took me here, I...'asked' him to bring me here." You say. "What do you mean, 'asked?'" Lars asked, and you pull your bow out. "I threatened him because he was making fun of you." You say, then you hug Lars and start to cry.

"(Y-Y/N)?" Lars looks at you, blushing. "I had a vision...I...I was going to hurt you." You say, crying still. "W-why?" Lars asked. "I didn't mean to, you were being taken and I tried to save you, but...I missed and hit you." You hug him tightly. 

Oh, Kevin left by the way.
Anyway, Lars hugs you back. "Don't worry, it probably just a dream." Lars said. "That's the thing...my dreams are visions...and they always come true...I don't want to hurt you..." You say, continuing to cry, Lars tried to help and gently smoothed your hair. "Everybody gets hurt every once in a while." He said, you look at him, looking sad.

[That didn't help...] Lars thought, you giggle. "Nope, it didn't." You say. "Oh yeah, forgot about the mind reading...heh..." He rubs his neck. "Wanna come in? Steven and Sadie are here." He said, you nod, and go in with him, holding his hand.

After a few hours, you guys play truth or dare. You liked it because you would know if someone was lying or not. "Alright, I'll go first!" Steven said. "(Y/N) truth or dare?" He asked you, you had to think for a moment. 

"Dare." You say bluntly, Steven thinks. "I dare you...to...um...oo! I got it! I dae you to do something embarrassing!" Steven said, you blush a bit, thinking of something. "O..k..." You say, and you shapeshift into a crow and fly into the wall and fall to the ground, you then go to your originl form. "MAGIC IS REAL!" You yell, feeling embarrassed, you then walk back over. "You have a bump on your head." Lars said, you just barley brush your hand on your head and it was gone.

"Ok, Lars, truth or dare?" You ask. Lars blushed a bit. "Truth." He said, you grin. "Heheh...do you have a crush on me, or Sadie?" You ask, and Lars blushes more. "U-um..." He thinks. [You can read my mind...so I could just think it, then say something else...] Lars thought.

"That's not how it works." You say with a smile. "Huh?" Saide and Steven look at you. "I can read minds." You say, pointing to your gem. "Ohhhh." They say, Lars blushes. "You, I love you ok?" He said, then covered his mouth, and you blush a little. "U-uh...um..." Lars looks away embarrassed, you held his hand, your gem glows. "I-it's ok...I...I feel the same..." You say, Lars smiles.

"Let's go to the fair, it's open 24 hours." Steven said, you, Lars, and Saide nod. "Alright." You guys go to the fair.

You four ride all kinds of rides, play games, and eat different foods. Then, at the end, you all went to a photo booth and took pictures. You and Lars did a few by yourselves, and the last one with you two...was you two kissing. 

It was a magical night at the fair.
