I woke, with start I knew something was wrong, because my little sister, Juna was screaming down the hall. Then I here a boom outside my closed window. I ran into Juna's room she was looking out her window, with scared look on face. "What is it," I asked.
"There are soldiers outside and I heard two big booms" she said.
"Oh, get some clothes and I will grab some food, put in this bag, pack light Juna," I said pointing to a bag.
Once we put some food and clothes the bag, snuck out the back door, I picked up Juna and ran, I did not stop even though I was worn out, I knew the Nazis were not far behind. I knew this would happen sooner or later, like it happened mama and papa. "Why are we running?" asked Juna.
"Well because, because I want to show you something," I replied.
"What are you going to show me" she asked.
"I'm not going to tell you, it's a surprise," I said out of breath, "Let's take a break."
I stopped running and set Juna down, then we crawled into a small cave. "I'm hungry," said Juna.
I pulled out the loaf of bread that cost my parents life and some cheese that was slightly melted on the edges. "We can only have a little bit, okay?" I said.
"Okay, Lara" she said.
