I promise

The three boys get out of the car, searching for the phone, Yoongi freezes once he sees the gang from before all standing there, smoking and laughing.

Jungkook's eyes light up he spots the phone face down on the ground, he picks it up, while Hoseok and Yoongi stay back, trying to not catch their attention.

"Damn it, it's cracked" Jungkook huffs silently, "You're welcome" a voice makes Jungkook freeze, he looks up at the familiar face, "I didn't get to introduce myself, you know?" Baekhyun smirks.

Yoongi rans up to both of them, with Hoseok trailing behind, "Step back" Hoseok spits, making Baekhyun pout, "Oh come on Hoseok, where's that bright smile you always showed off" Baekhyun says, making Hoseok glare at him. "It's gone now, and so is our knowledge of knowing each other Baekhyun" Hoseok growls, making Baekhyun raise a brow.

"Wait I thought you said, you didn't know them personally" Yoongi speaks up, "Did he now?" Baekhyun smirks, "Well I guess my little Hoseok is keeping secrets again"

"You shut up!" Hoseok growls, he pushes Baekhyun back, who laughs in disbelief, "I can't believe you're going to ruin another group Hoseok" Baekhyun spits.

"I moved on from selling illegal stuff Baekhyun, and you're not my leader anymore, SO BACK OFF" Hoseok growls, "What's going on here?" Xuimin asks, his eyes light up once he recognizes Hoseok.

"Hyung?" Xuimin asks, "Xuimin..." Hoseok sighs, "Ok, I'm sorry to interrupt the family reunion but we kinda have to go" Jungkook points out.

Baekhyun smirks and swings an arm on Jungkook's shoulder, "You're lucky to have that guy" he says, pointing at Hoseok, Jungkook gulps and nods slightly, "Yeah, we know" Yoongi assures, pushing Baekhyun's arm off Jungkook.

Baekhyun chuckles and steps backs up, "Come on Xuimin, he's better off like this" Baekhyun chuckles, Xuimin nods and turns to leave with Baekhyun.

"What was all that about?" Yoongi asks, Hoseok shakes his head, "It's a long story" he rushed past them and back into the car.

All the boys meet back at the base, Jungkook and Yoongi were exhausted, the tension between them and Hoseok was thick, they were worried for the happy boy.

A buzz makes Yoongi jump, he digs his hand in his pocket, pulling out his phone.

"Dare complete, tomorrow you will all have to get your hands a little dirty, sleep well"

Yoongi could sense the sarcasm from the text, he huffed and threw himself on the couch, Jungkook following after.

The sky was getting darker, the temperature was getting colder, and the boys were getting sleepier, Hoseok stood up and walked up to Yoongi and Jungkook.

"Guys?" the boys both looked up at Hoseok, "Can we talk a little before you start drooling each other?" Hoseok asks coldly, the boys nod slowly and get up.

The three boys walk near the bridge, Yoongi remembers when he cried here, he gulped, making Jungkook walk closer by his side.

Hoseok sits down at the edge of the bridge looking at the sunset, Jungkook and Yoongi sat down next to him.

"What are we talking about?" Jungkook asks, Hoseok sighs and bits his bottom lip, "I was in a gang, that's what Baekhyun was talking about earlier"

"You worked with him?" Yoongi asks, Hoseok shakes his head and leans back on his hands, "He saved my life from getting stabbed once, so I joined their gang because they promised protection" he corrected.

Jungkook nods, "What did you promise in return then?" he asks, Hoseok gives him a confused look, "What?"

"If they promised you something, then you have to had promised something to them too" Jungkook explained, Hoseok chuckles nervously, "I promised I would be their cover and the person who would always come up with an explanation if we ever we got caught"
