Chapter 1: The Prized Bull

You reached your arm over as you turned off your alarm to wake up to start the day. You sat up and streched your arms into the air as you stood up and went towards the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth.

You then walked over to your calendar on the bedroom wall, smiling wide as you saw what today was. It was the day of the Bullfighting event at the Totomonstro! After you finished staring at the today's date on the calendar, you went to your closet and set out the pair of clothing that you wanted to wear today.

"There! That'll do! Now, time to take a shower then I can head out to Altissia~"

You then nodded as you headed into the bathroom and closed the door and you turned on the water and stepped into the tub to take your shower.

A few minutes had passed and, you came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around your waist as you walked over to your bed where you placed your clothes that you were going to wear and you dried yourself off a bit before you put them on.

Afterwards, you got ready to head out the house for Altissia. You took one of the travel boats that normally goes back and forth from Lucis to Altissia.

You had finally arrived to Altissia as you stopped at the Gelato ice cream stand to get yourself a treat as you made your way to the gondolier that takes you straight to the Totomonstro arena. You were finished with your ice cream by the time you found yourself a seat in the middle row near the top.

As you were seated, the bullfighting had started as the prized bull stepped into the arena; brandishing the many scars it had earned with all the fights it had won. 'Wonder how it got so many scars? From fighting here in the arena perhaps? No, that can't be the case.'

You thought to yourself as you kept watching the show, sitting on the edge of your seat as the bull threw one of the matadors in the air knocking him out as he snorted into the air in victory and everyone around you started screaming and cheering as the bull walked away back into the doorway it came from.

You then left the arena once the show was over and, you went back onto the gondola to get something for lunch. 'I have to find out how he got so many of those scars yet, he keeps winning those fights? I heard the other patrons that, there's a big barn nearby that he goes and sleeps in after he wins.'

You told yourself as, you made your way to the big barn somewhere in Altissia. By the time you reached the barn, it was already night. Altissia is a big city so, of course you were going to get lost a few times along the way.

You slowly walked towards the entrance to the barn as, you saw someone standing on two legs. The person you could barely see in the light of the moon had the same scars you saw on the bull that was fighting in the arena earlier today.

You pushed open one of the doors with a creak and you stopped mid step further into the barn as, amber colored eyes stared into your [e/c] orbs.

"Who's there?!" The voice was low but stern as you stood in your place at the doorway, the light of the moon showing off the mans features. How were you ever going to get yourself out of this situation??
