Wendy's P.O.V

I walked into the Shack ready for work, nothing unusual. Well apart from me being ready for work part but what can I say? You gotta pay the bills somehow. I could hear Dipper and Mabel singing in the kitchen, I gave a light laugh as I heard them enjoy themselves.

I gave a long yawn before walking to the kitchen doorway to say good morning. "I'm glad you're so happy, maybe Gravity Falls is the medicine for depression-" Right before Mabel could finish her sentence she noticed me standing in the doorway.

I could see the color in her face drain a bit, a little hint of worry in her eyes. "Why'd you stop talking?" Dipper obviously oblivious to the situation hadn't noticed me yet, Mabel gave a light cough and pointed my way with her eyes.

He turned around slowly and our eyes met, he looked nervous. I raised a brow and he gave a heavy sigh, I could tell he really didn't want to talk. "Dipper what did she mean" I asked him with with concern in my voice, but still he remained silent.

"Dipper why aren't you saying anything?" I asked more worriedly this time, he just looked to the side. Mabel was leaning against the sink staring at the ground, music still playing on the radio. "Listen Wendy it was nothing, Mabel was just joking" He shrugged and tried to walk past me but I instinctively grabbed his arm.

"Dude I know when you're lying to me" I pleaded with him. "I don't want to talk about it okay?" He walked up the stairs and all was quiet. "Mabel" I spoke sternly, turning round to her. "Tell me what's going on right now." She remained quiet and I was beginning to lose my patience.

"Dipper!" I called out to him as I rushed up the stairs. I knocked on his door gently, hoping for some sort of answer but nothing. I decided I had enough and opened the door forcefully, to my surprise dipper was sitting on the end of the bed.

He didn't say anything or lift his eyes, he just sat there staring at the wooden floor. The sun shone through the window, revealing the dust particles floating where the sun shone. I gave a gentle sigh and sat down next to him.

"Dipper, tell me what that was about" I pleaded again and he closed his eyes. "I can't" Opening his eyes again he looked towards me. "I'm sorry" Why won't he tell me? my patience grew thin as I scanned round his room. From the last time I was in his room, which was back in that first summer it was different.

You could tell he was an Indie junkie just from the amount of Indie bands on his wall. I smiled for a moment realising he must've gotten the taste from me. "Dude why won't you tell me? I just want to kn-" As I tried to ask him again he cut me off "Wendy quit it already!" He snapped at me and I was taken back.

My chest hurt, not in the life threatening way. It was some other kind of pain but I couldn't place my finger on it. I stayed quiet, as Dipper turned his back to me. I reached a hand out to him, gently grabbing his shirt. He stopped as I did so, I felt my heart swell.

I could feel my cheeks blush lightly 'What am I doing?' I questioned myself. I clenched his shirt harder, a feeling of almost nirvana swooshing through me. "Dipper, I-" Just as I was about to speak, a knock on the door interrupted me.

"Hello? Hi Dipper!" Pacifica waved as she opened the door lightly. I quickly let go of him and grabbed a magazine from his table, pretending to read it. "Oh, Wendy. What are you doing in here?" Her tone shifted and I glared at her.

"Just chilling with Dipper" I lied and she nodded "Dipper I was wondering if you would like to maybe go on a walk with me?" She smiled, I felt myself clenching the magazine harder and harder as the moments passed.

"that sounds great, lets go!" Dipper spoke rapidly as I noticed his face bright red. As the both exited the room I was left in silence. "Argh!" I threw the magazine across the room in anger and I paused.

"Am I, jealous?" I asked myself and I shook my head. "Nah its just Pacifica getting under my skin..." I sighed as I leaned back into dippers bed. "I guess he really likes her, huh?" I questioned myself but I already knew the answer...
