Today is the day that I move all the way to Miami by myself. This is a big thing for me because I was born and raised in California, so moving across the country by myself is a little nerve wracking for me. But, I'm confident and excited for this change.

"Come on RQ, your going to miss your flight." Kali said snapping me out of my thoughts.

She was acting a little more peppy to know that I'm moving. I mean she's never really liked me for some reason. Maybe it's just a sibling thing, but I know for a fact she's hated my guts since she was born. I try to show her love and affection, but she just doesn't want anything to do with me.

It was currently 6 something am and my flight doesn't leave until 7:30 am, but we live far away from the airport so we had to get up early. Which I am not fond of because I'm not a morning person. But today was such an exciting day for me, my family and friends. This means a new life for me and I have a lot of hope for my new life!

It was 7:27 and I already went through TSA.
I was sitting in the boarding area waiting for my plane as I was on my phone while it was charging. I'm texting Lili about everything since she was getting ready for school and couldn't come to say goodbye, which I'm really sad about but I can FaceTime her and stuff so it was fine.

Lili💫- so you excited about living in Miami

RQ🌹- duh I'm just nervous about everything, like idk anybody there

Lili💫- yea but look on the bright side, you can test out your new adult skills and meet new people

Lili💫- not creepers though watch out for those 👀

RQ🌹- 😂😂 I definitely will

Lili always made me laugh no matter what the situation was. She just had an up beat feeling to her all the time and I loved it.

"Flight number 305 to Miami your plane is now boarding" the lady on the intercom said in a bright tone.

RQ🌹- kk Lili my plane is boarding I'll text you and the fam when I land

Lilil💫- ight have a safe trip sissy love you

I smiled remembering how much I'm going to miss my family. "Group A 1-20 please board the plane, Group A 1-20 thank you" the lady said again. Welp here goes my new life.

I got my carry on and got in line with the rest of group A.

🌹RQ's apartment in Miami 🌹

Wow! I loved this place. As soon as I seen it I knew I had to get this apartment. It's more like a mansion if you look at it. White walls, black fluffy carpets and red furniture. And the kitchen and bathroom floors and counters are grey marble.

You might be thinking where I got all this money from. Or not but just for the people that are. I saved a lot of money from the time I was 7. Every 5 dollar bill I got I put it in my savings account. My mom taught me that.

Now look where I'm at, and I got much more to spend. I'm so glade my grandma told me to send my stuff here early so now everything is all setup and running smooth all I have to do is put these clothes and stuff up an I'll be done. Oh, that reminds me I need to go shopping tomorrow for some food and clothes. I got rid of most of my clothes so I need to go shopping for more. Which is good because they were all old and ugly anyway, it doesn't fit my style anymore.

I'm super tired so I got my silk pajamas and my underwear and bra set from VS and throw it on my bed.
I got a towel and walked to my bathroom, which was connected to my room, and took a shower. I did my hygiene thing, got out, put on some lotion and got dressed.
I put my natural hair up in a big pineapple bun.
I got under the covers of my bed and laid my head down. I grabbed my phone from the night stand beside me and texted my family remembering I would text them as soon as I was safe and sound and once I hit send I went straight to sleep 😴.
