District 1-
District 1 specializes in Luxury. District 1 is a wealthy district and is one of the favored districts in Panem. The children In District 1 train, illegally, for the games. The Children in District One are usually named for a luxury item. The games in District 1 is a chance to bring wealth, fame and pride to you and the district. The Tributes from this District are usually among the group called “Career Tributes”. In the 74th Hunger Games the District One Tributes were Glimmer and Marvel, they were both killed by Katniss. In the 75th Hunger Games the District 1 Tributes where Cashmere and Gloss, who were brother and sister and won consecutive years. They were both killed by Katniss and Johanna Mason.
District 2-
District 2 specializes in Masonry. District 2 is also a wealthy and large District that is set in the Rocky Mountains, and is also a favored district. Like, district 1, district 2’s children train, illegally, for the games and are Career Tribute. It is made of small communities set around a mine. In the middle of District 2 is a mountain, which Katniss calls the Nut, Which controls the apparatus and the Capitols defenses. Most of the Peacekeepers and many victors come from district 2. In the 74th Hunger Games the male and female tribute from district 2 where Cato and Clove. In the 75th Hunger Games the male and female tributes where Brutus and Enobaria.
District 3-
District 3 specializes in Electronics. Most of the people that live in District 3 work in factories and are very intelligent. The tributes come from District 3 use their intelligence in the games. In the 74th Hunger Games, the tribute that represented 3 managed to create a mine field to protect the career tributes supplies. A former winner of the games, from District 3, named Beetee won his games by electrocuting his opponents. In the 75th Hunger Games Beetee manages to use a wire, in which he found at the Cornucopia, to destroy the force field, using the lightning that came at a certain time. It was Katniss that who finished the job before she was pursued by a hovercraft. In 75th Hunger Games Beetee’s District partner is Wiress. Wiress’s throat was slit by Gloss, the Male Tribute from District 1.
District 4-
District 4 specializes in Fishes for the Capital. District 4 is a wealthy district. Like Districts 1 and 2 it is also favored by the capitol. Its tributes along with the tributes from 1 and 2 are called the career tribute, they train, illegally, and then volunteer to go in to the games. During the 74th Hunger Games the boy tribute from District 4 is killed during the bloodbath at the Cornucopia and the girl tribute is killed when Katniss drops the Tracker Jacker Nest on the career pack. In the 74th Hunger Games the male and female tributes are never named. In the 75th Hunger Games the District 4 Victors/ Tributes are Finnick Odair and, an elderly women, named Mags. Katniss, Peeta, Mags and Finnick all become allies together. Katniss said that Mags could make a fish hook out of anything. She was killed in the Arena, when there was a poisonous gas and Finnick could not carry her and Peeta. Mags ran into the gas in order for Finnick to carry Peeta. Mags was Finnicks Mentor during his time in the games.
District 5-
District 5 specializes in Power. During the 74th Hunger Games Katniss nicknames the girl tribute Foxface, because she reminded Katniss of a fox. She had sleek red hair, with a slim face, and she was very sly and elusive and very smart. Her real name is never mentioned in the story. Her male counterpart is never mentioned in the story nor is he described, he was said to have been killed during the bloodbath at the cornucopia. She was one of the last to die. She was killed when she ate poisonous berries that she saw Peeta picking. In the 75th Hunger Games the male tribute is killed by Finnick on the first day in the Cornucopia.
District 6-
District 6 specializes in transportation. During the 74th Hunger Games both of the Tributes are killed during the first day, at the cornucopia. During the 75th Hunger Games both tributes are addicted to “Morphling” a very strong, addictive pain reliever. Katniss and Peeta nickname these two Victors/Tributes the Morphlings. The male Morphling is killed on the first day at the Cornucopia. The female Morphling is killed while saving Peeta by hurling herself in between herself and a mutated monkey.
District 7-
District 7 specializes in Lumber and Paper. During the 74th Hunger Games the male and female tribute are not described nor are they named. During the 75th Hunger Games the male and female Victor/Tributes are Johanna Mason and a man named Blight. Johanna Mason becomes allies with Katniss during the 75th Hunger Games. At the end of the second book she is captured by the Capitol along with Peeta, and Enobaria. In the third book when she is rescued she has come down with a fear of water.
District 8-
District 8 specializes in textile. District 8 supplies the peacekeepers uniforms. The security is very strict in 8 and it is one of the first of the districts to rebel. Two young women named Bonnie and Twill escape during one of the uprisings and tell Katniss that they think that District 13 still has inhabitants. In the third book Katniss visits a hospital in 8, which is later bombed under President Snows order. District 8s leader, Paylor another victor, later becomes President of Panem after Katniss kills Coin. During both the 74th and 75th Hunger Games the tributes are never really talked about. Although in during the 74th Hunger Games it is said that Peeta went back to finish off the Female tribute and it is assumed her male counterpart died during the bloodbath at the Cornucopia.
District 9-
District 9 specializes in Grain. District 9 has many factories. During the 74th Hunger Games the Male and Female are killed during the Bloodbath at the Cornucopia. The male tribute is killed by clove, a district 2 tribute, while fighting with Katniss over a backpack. Katniss described him as having hazel eye. During the 75th Hunger Games the Tributes/Victor are never really described.
District 10-
District 10 specializes in livestock. In district 13 Katniss meets a man named Dalton whos job is to implant frozen cow embryos to add diversity to the herd. During the 74th Hunger Games Katniss notes that the male tribute has a crimpled leg and is mentioned many times during the first book. During the 75th Hunger Games Katniss says that the Tributes/Victors are dressed as cows and have flaming belts as if they were boiling the belts, in a poor imitation of Cinna techniques to showcase Katniss at the games.
District 11-
District 11 specializes in Agriculture. During the 74th Hunger Games Katniss teams up with the female tribute named Rue. Later in the games Rue is stabbed in the stomach, with a spear, by Marvel, the male tribute from District 1. In the end of the 74TH Hunger Games the male tribute from 11, Thresh, avenges Rue’s death buy killing Clove, a career tribute from District 2. During the 75th Hunger Games the two tributes from 11 are Chaff and Seeder, both of which know of the Rebellion.
