Once upon a time 6: Just a cup of Coffee

Mina is keeping a secret.

And Momo would probably never know.

"What an idiot." Momo thought as she looks at her friend, Jeongyeon.

Momo and Jeongyeon met when they're on sophomore year in high school. They were both in the basketball club back then. Nobody wouldn't know "Hirai Momo and Yoo Jeongyeon" of the baseball club and even now. Both are charismatic and have fangirls all over the school.

Jeongyeon was the captain and she was a subaenim momo used to look up to, used to, before momo got to learn how big of an idiot Jeongyeon is.

It's not that Momo wanted to intentionally get close to the "girl crush" of the whole school. The girl would just drag her everywhere. She would drag her to a lot of trouble and awkward situations Momo doesn't want to be in.

But it all connects to one person, Im Nayeon.

Im Nayeon is the head of choral club when they're in highschool. She is known for her cute face and angelic voice. She also has this cute bunny smile that Jeongyeon is obsessed about. She was the prettiest girl in all of Seoul High and Jeongyeon has been crushing on her ever since she saw her.

It's not that Jeongyeon proclaims to everyone that she likes Nayeon. Momo just knew. She couldn't miss the way Jeongyeon would have that wide-eyed gaze and heartfelt smiles everytime Nayeon walks by. It was so obvious.

"What an idiot," Momo couldn't help but shook her head.

"Excuse me?" Jeongyeon raised her eyes.

"If you like her so much, why don't you talk to her?"

Jeongyeon's eyes widened that time, and that red blush creeping on her cheeks couldn't deny all that. Then that was the start, the start in which Jeongyeon would drag her everywhere.

The first time is when Jeongyeon wanted to know Nayeon's name. Jeongyeon literally plead Momo to ask the whole literary club who she is, since she often sees her in the library. And damn, Nayeon is not on the literary club, she's from the choral club. Luckily, she once dropped her books and Jeongyeon picked it up and say 'Im Nayeon' written on its bottom. Nayeon smiled at her and said 'Thank you' that time, and yes, Jeongyeon still wouldn't shut up about it.

The second time, Jeongyeon volunteered to be the class president and she forced Momo to be the vise just so she could attend the meetings of the student council, Just to get a weekly glance on Im Nayeon. Momo couldn't forget how much that was the hell tiring.

The third time, Jeongyeon forced her to take the bus to Nayeon's home. They got home so late that that night, her father wouldn't let her in until midnight.

The third time was followed by a lot of stupid things. A lot of awkward stituations. Now they're on University, and Jeongyeon's Nayeon is no where in their sight.

It's been almost a year since Momo's life finally peace and quiet.

They are both on the classroom now and Ms. Sana's class is about to end. Ms. Sana was the teacher who would often scold Momo, She is her older cousin and she knows that Momo is actually pretty smart, she's just extremely lazy.

All of the students went outside when Ms. Sana dismissed the class.

"Momo," Jeongyeon called her.
