The day was pleasant, maybe a little too hot, the sun was high in the sky and there were no clouds whatsoever in sight; it was a typical and peaceful summer day in the village of Konoha.
But, as people happily and calmly strolled around in the streets while carrying on their daily lives, one ninja in particular, in a particular training field, seemed fairly worried and on edge.
"What's gotten you like that?" Shikamaru's familiar voice suddenly echoed, catching the chubby ninja's attention.
Slightly shifting under his bestfriend's, who was merely standing in front of him, disturbed gaze and Ino's, who was silently sitting by a large tree that casted its cool shade over her form, similar one, Chouji muttered:
"I'm worried about (f/n)... Our parents are away from Konoha for the week, and I left her by herself to do the housework so I could come train with you."
Releasing a heavy sigh, Shikamaru lazily scratched the back of his head for a moment, but before he could talk...
"Who is (f/n)?"
Caught by surprise, the two males suddenly turned to face their trusted companion.
"You don't know her?" Questioned Shikamaru with widened eyes.
The blonde kunoichi merely shook her head in answer, completely unaware as to whom they were talking about.
"(F/n) is my twin sister, Ino!" Informed Chouji, clearing away the young woman's doubts.
"And why are you so worried about leaving her? Last I checked, no one in your clan was what one would call fragile or accident prone." Mused Ino.
"She's sick!" Declared Shikamaru, before Chouji could even open his mouth.
"Sick? What do you mean?" Inquired the girl, finally obtaining a proper answer from the chubby ninja:
"(F/n) was born with a frail body and a health deficit, any extra efforts, even if small, can cause her to get terribly tired or even collapse!" Noted Chouji, every word of remembrance about his sister's condition furthering his concern more and more. "And today the temperature is too hot for her..."
"Calm down and first things first, what did she have to do today?" Asked Shikamaru, avoiding yet another sigh.
"So..." Muttered Chouji as he pondered over the housework list he had seen earlier in the morning. "She had to water the plants, prepare lunch, wash the floorboards and... shopping for groceries."
One moment passed in silence as the three members of Team 10 thought over the young man's list.
"Did you really leave your sickly sister to go grocery shopping by herself?" Reprehended Ino. "You could have at least offered to do that yourself on the way back home!"
"She's got a point..." Uttered Shikamaru.
Suddenly struck by the blonde's harsh reasoning, Chouji took off back towards the village, followed close by his team mates who were now nearly as concerned as he was himself.

A young woman hummed to her favourite song as she happily skipped across the streets of the village's commercial area, her (h/c) tresses gently flying behind her figure as she gazed around the many stores.
'Hmm... I wonder what Chou wants for dinner... If I remember correctly, he said he would be having lunch with his friends today!' A soft giggle abandoned the girl's lips as, while buying all that was needed for the house, she fondly remembered her twin's insatiable appetite.
