Velvet rubbed her tired eyes, one leg over the other placed her feet flat on the at the edge of her bed. It was her first day of training and she wanted to get ready. She got up and walked to the bathroom. Velvet observed herself in the mirror and rubbed her freckled face. She undressed and got into the the shower , got out , brushed her teeth , things normal people do. The only was that she wasn't normal. She was so rich if she got a cut she could bleed money, no body even knew she had a bank account because she was so humble. Her body was flawless , the hourglass figure every girl died for, nice hips , beautiful face that looked incapable of blemishes. Probably because her adaption powers were not kicking in just yet. It makes her look and act like the superior species any planet she goes to. She doesn't involuntarily ovulate , she has never experienced her period. And she's awake. At 2:30. She doesn't need to sleep for five days. She put on a dark crimson chemise and black tights with her red scarf on her hips. Velvet braided the front of her hair. She went across the room to pet sleeping dog, Tony doesn't that its around. She wrapped a tight bandage on each of hands and headed towards the door . Velvet got to the gym. She was definitely impressed with the architecture and slowly walked around it. Velvet headed towards a worn punching bag suspended in the corner of the hall. She stroked her hand against it then struck it. It went backwards and came forward just for Velvet to strike it again and again. She finally decided to try the pull up bar. It was only after two hours that the tired Avengers started to pile up in the gym. They saw Velvet on the pull up bar , doing pull - ups , upside down so kinda like hand squats.
"Velvet dear don't you think its dangerous to be up there." Thor suggested.
"Uggh you sound like my mom. "
Thor rolled his eyes as Velvet back flipped of the bar.
"Velvet would you like to spar with me. "
"So I can whoop your ass like I always so if ya wanna back out do so now."
"Velvet you know I'm not one to back out of a good fight, I propose you back out just to make sure you Don't get hurt. And one other thing what in Odin are you wearing.
"Its just my traditional training outfit."
"How long have you been on earth.
" Three weeks why do you ask. "
"You seriously need to go shopping. "
"Whatever let's just spar already, I don't need a 'traditional ' asgardian to tell me how to dress. "
They moved to the mat and faced each other. Thor immediately threw a punch, Velvet caught it and twisted his hand. Thor grunted and threw another punch that hit her square in the face. Velvet doubled over and Thor ran to her aid.
"Oh my I am terribly sorry Vel..."
Before he could finish Velvet kicked his chest. Thor has been deceived dun dun duh. Before he could recovers she elbowed him, jumped in the air and kicked him down. The team rushed to Thor's side. He placed his hand on his now bleeding nose and attempted to get up.
"Come on Velvet I said spar with me not murder me. "
"Thor if I wanted to murder you, you'd be dead already. "

"How can you forget Barton, tonight is Super gala.
"What is Super Gala. " Velvet inquired The team turned to her in shock
"That is the night where all the supers like us meet once a year duh. " Sam said

" The night of meeting cool scientists like myself. " Bruce added.
"The exhibit of new technology and weapons. " Natasha said.
"Speaking of that as you all know I am going to show of my latest suit technology. Which is currently not finished. BRUCE LETS GO I JUST REMEMBERED THE SUIT IS NOT FINISHED!!!! " Tony yelled and ran to the lab with Bruce following slowly behind. "
"I think I should go and help them. "
"But Velvet you don't have anything to wear. "Thor whined
"I do too. "Velvet argued.
Clint and Sam went out to pick suits and Wanda and Natasha went to Wanda's room to pick dresses. It was left with Thor and Bucky in the living room.
"Alright then let us see it. " Thor persisted
"OK OK how formal is it. "
"Like The Grant balk formal. "
"What's that. " Bucky asked.
"The most beautiful ball of the entire year in Asgard.
Velvet went to her room to change And came back.
