Paranoia sat next to Beth, back leaned against the headboard, arms crossed.
"You could have prevented this, you know." Paranoia sighed. Beth nodded.
"I know what I'm aware of."
"Obviously not."
Beth shot Paranoia a glare, holding back her snarl. Paranoia let out a deep chuckle.
"Now, now, I don't believe I deserve that face. If you would have given me a little more respect, you wouldn't have such a torn up face." He grinned as his jawbone spread across his face. "You see, I know more than you think. Like how Mary lied her ass off with all that virgin bullshit. Like how the Mona Lisa was Davinchi's "own unique piece". Like how sober your mother actually was when she kicked your ass. Like your slutty thoughts when you took it upon yourself to shove your tongue down Trancy's throat-"
"Stop it."
"Why? You know it's true. And don't even get me started on how badly you want to pry off Phantomhive's clothes. I thought for sure at first you wanted Ciel, but then the whole thing happened with Alois. Now it's beginning to look like you want both."
Paranoia then smirked, growling huskily. "What a naughty girl."
"Have you been spying on my life?"
"If you want to call it that. Just remember that whatever, wherever, and whenever, I can show up whenever I want. I also want you to remember you're thirteen years old."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that I wouldn't be such a thirsty slut and lose whatever innocence you have left in you so quickly."
Beth only sat the same way he did, looking at him from the corner of her eye. She didn't pout; or glare; or even argue to the insults he hit her with. She just stared him so deeply in the eye that it brought a devious smirk to his face. "If you're trying to intimidate me, it's not working. It's only turning me on."
Beth's eyes grew wide as she quickly looked away. "Aw, what happened? I was just having fun!"
"Stop it..." Beth murmured, trying not to hiss it through her teeth.
"What's wrong, doll?" He grinned, gently tracing a talon over her belly button. "Isn't this what you wanted?"
"STOP IT!" She finally snapped, tears bursting from her eyes.
"Or what?" He taunted, gliding the same nail down her belly and letting his fingers slide over her inner thigh.
"STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, flopping and stumbling from the bed, tumbling against the wall. Beth shut her eyes tight, thousands of tears flowing from her eyes. "STOP IT!" She screamed one last time before the door was thrown open and she sunk down the wall to the floor, palms tightly pressed against her ears. A gentle, yet firm grip clung to her shoulders. The grip was shaky as if panic had erupted over them. Beth slowly opened her tear-ridden eyes and released her hands from her ears.
"What happened!?" Ciel panicked.
Ciel was kneeled down in front of her, a look of such emotion that she had to consider if it was actually him. Beth was crying, tears flowing from her eyes, sputtering slurred words that she called an explanation. "Beth, you need to calm down. Please." He pleaded, then pinching her lips together with his index finger and his thumb. Once she calmed down, he let go of her lips. They quivered a few times, but she still remained quiet. "Now, tell me. Did you hear something; see something?" He asked. Beth only nodded. "Well, which one?"
"Both." She squeaked. "He's back. He's worse."
"How the hell could he get any worse?"
Beth paused a moment.
"I doubt you would understand."
Her voice was now nasally and raspy from salty tears. Ciel smirked.
"Try me."
