Cassie was only two hours old when she was put into foster care. Her father died before she was born and her mother killed her self after Cassie was born.
Cassie's been in and out of different foster homes all her life, once in a mental institution...
It's officially Cassie's 17th birthday and she couldn't be more annoyed. She's back at the adoption center, and her favorite caregiver was Lacey. She's a nice little old lady, around 80 years.
"Good morning Cassie happy birthday love" she's smiles as sets a birthday muffin with two candles to spell out "17". Cassie's smiles softly as she's still trying to wake up "thank you Lacey just think one more year and I won't have to deal with the system anymore" Cassie smiled and hugged Lacey.
The whole morning consisted of Lacey and Cassie talking and the rest of the girls in the home wishing her a happy birthday. Cassie was one of the more popular girls in the home, everyone liked her except for the parents who adopted her. See the older you get the harder it is to find a permanent home, most people want a baby to start them off right but sadly all through Cassie's childhood the people that would adopted her were people who just wanted to abuse her for fun.
Cassie decided she'd go out since it was a nice day in New York for once. She threw on some black ripped jeans and nirvana crop top, she put her long wavy hair into a side braid putting a beanie over her head. Cassie didn't like wearing too much makeup so she just threw on some mascara and did her eyebrows.

She grabbed her phone and some money telling Lacey she was gonna go to the mall.
"Hey Cassie can I come with you kadi is being mean to me again" Annabelle asked me. Annabelle is a sweet ten year old who got dropped off her when she was 9. Cassie was the first one Annabelle met and instantly they felt like sisters. "Sure go ask Lacey first I'll wait out front for you" Cassie kissed the top of annebelles head and walked outside sitting on the front steps.
A lot of times Cassie would only accept being adopted if Annabelle could come with her, Cassie never wanted to leave her alone incase something happened she always wanted to protect Annabelle. Cassie secretly bought Annabelle and herself iPhones so they could always make sure each other is safe.
At their adoption center they aren't allowed to have any type of devices that could have Internet on them but once you reach the age of 16 they allow you to have one. Meaning Callie was allowed to carry her phone everywhere and not hide it.
Soon enough Annabelle comes hopping out of the door flopping over Cassie's shoulder smiling "Lacey said I can go as long as I don't wonder off" Cassie smiled and let Annabelle climb on my back and I held my hands under legs so I could hold her up. "Okay so how bout you me go and buy you a new stuffed animal before we go to my store" Cassie smiled and Annabelle hummed smiling as she looked around the pretty city.
Annabelle was a sweet little innocent girl. Her mom and dad sent her here after they could afford to take care of her anymore, she doesn't know of the corners of the world and Cassie made sure it would stay that way so Annabelle would never get hurt ever again.
