#8 A lovely morning

*Levi pov*

My eyes slowly fluttered open, my vision slightly blurred. The sun felt so good on my skin. "So....warm" I mumbled. I slowly but surely sat up and stretched my aching body out. It's odd, I didn't recall walking up not even once last night. I've always had a rough time getting to sleep ,and staying that way. I lazily scanned around the unfamiliar room. Only to come across Eren starring out the window. The natural light hitting him perfectly. Making his Caribbean eyes sparkle, and his content smile shine so bright. He sighed making me jump. He must have not noticed I had awaken because then he turned ,and jumped like a scared kitten. He looked so peaceful before. Now he looks suprised and slightly red. We locked eyes for a few seconds before he let out a little giggle. 'so freaking cute....NOPE' "Oi, what are you laughing at!?" Then the dam broke... He let it all loose. The room was filled with his joyful giggles and laughs. He tried speaking ,but failed horribly. I started to get irritated now. He pointed to me and gave me a small smirk. I was very confused until he spoke. "Your hair... It's really messed up.." I reached up to my head ,and started to attempt at flattening it. He tried to stiful a giggle ,and reached over to me a little hesitant at first. He brushed his fingers through my hair and started to flatten and comb through it this time successfully. I lowered my hands ,and put them on my lap. If you looked close enough you might be able to see the tiniest shade of pink. Once he was done he put his hands back down ,and looked at his work pleased with the results. I looked at his face ,and ended up locking eye contact with him. He started to turn a beautiful shade of red as he scanned my face. We started to slowly lean in when the door burst open almost as if on cue. "HEY EREN!" I realized what had almost happened and got it from my seat and made my way to the door. "I'm going to go get breakfast." I had almost made it out the door when Eren spoke up "bye." So simple yet very complicated. He sounded... Disappointed? Sad? Broken.....

*Eren pov*

When I woke up I felt warm ,and content. The sun shining in my face and the wind blowing through the open window. I watched the clouds roll over the sky. It was a perfect day to go out. I looked over and saw Levi sleeping peacefully. I didn't remember him coming in here last night, but I don't really care all to much if u remembered or not he's here. I stared at his face for a while looking at his hair as it fell in his face. I looked at his chest as it rose and fell at an easy pace. He looked so freaking cute sleeping. 'I wouldn't mind walking up to that every morning.' I thought I gazed back over to the window and saw everyone out and playing in the grass having an amazing time with each other. I sighed and smiled feeling happy and warm inside. I heard a jump behind me and looked over to see Levi staring at me and jumped my self a little confused and suprised. I looked at him for a while until my eyes fell upon his....hair. I couldn't help but start to giggle. It was small until Levi had to go and make it worse. "Oi, what are you laughing at!?" Then all hell broke loose ,and I couldn't control myself.i sat and laughed my head off. I looked over to see his face and that fouled the forest fire. He started to get irritated ,and made a sound that sounded like a growl? I stopped and pointed to his bird nest like hair and said. " Your hair....it's really messed up..." He reached up and started to try ,and straighten it but failed horribly. I then reached out and combed my fingers through his hair. I smiled at my work and leaned back to my original position. I looked him over before smiling at my work. We locked eyes for what felt like an eternity. Before I know it we start to slowly lean in when we were interrupted my a loud crash. Hanji burst through the door screaming. "HEY EREN" I sighed quite upset that I missed my chance to kiss Levi. I leaned back as Levi got up and Hanji made her way over to me. "I'm going to go get breakfast" Levi said and made his way to the door. Before I stopped him by saying "bye" trying my best to not sound disappointed. When he left all I could think was how realived he sounded. Like he didn't want to kiss me. I felt so broken , because of course he wouldn't want to kiss me. He has ....Erwin.
