I'm Lost

Hello so so sorry for the wait. I hope you all are enjoying my story. 

(Reader P.O.V)

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. That was the best sleep I have had in a while. I got up and got dressed and did my business and I made myself some breakfast then i grabbed my keys and left my apartment. I then headed to work but before i got out of my car my phone made a noise (you pick the noise it makes) to tell me I got a message. So i got It out of my purse and I looked at it.

Unknown number : Hi (your name), It's Emmett :). I was going to text you yesterday but I didn't wanna annoy you or wake you. But good Morning :). Oh wait its like 6am am I waking you up? I'm sorry :(

I smiled at the text and I really quick change the unknown to Emmett and I text him back.

Me/(your name): Good morning Emmett and no no I'm up. I have work and you could have texted me I wouldn't have minded :) 

Emmett: Oh good I was afraid that I did. Wait work? Where do you work if you don't mind me asking?

Me/(your name): Oh I work at the Carver Cafe, you should stop by sometime :). I will text you later ok? I have to get into work before I'm fired lol ;) 

I blushed as i sent that with a winky face. I then put my phone on vibrate and i put it in my pocket and i got my purse and I got out of my car and went in.

(Emmett P.O.V)

I'm sure if i where alive i would be blushing a deep red as she sent me the winky face emoji, but I was so glad i didn't wake her up but i wanted to text her so bad I waited hours to text her. I then got up from my chair and I walked down stairs to come face to face with Edward. I looked at him and asked "yes? what do you need?." He then said,"well I wondered if you can keep your sexual thoughts of miss (your name) on the down low please. You only talked to her once and you need to get to know her first." I roll my eyes and i push passed him. as i said, "you know I can think of anything when i want it is my mind after all not yours." I look back at him. He then asked, "ok so are you leaving home now?" I could tell he was teasing "No i'm not i have a chance to love again, like hell am I leaving." 

(Reader P.O.V)

I groaned a bit cause my boss asked me to work three extra hours. I mean I'm getting paid but I wanted to go hiking after this. This ruined my whole day, Soon my shirt ended and I got my extra bag and I went to the back and I changed into Hiking boots, jeans, and a shirt. But i didn't for get to text Emmett like I told him I would.

Me/(your name) : Hey :) I'm off work and I will talk to you later if you want. I'm going out to relax lol ttyl :)

And with that I then got my things and got into my car and drove to a hiking train about 8 miles out of town and I didn't wait for his reply. Also cause i soon got out of cell service. I then parked my car and I got my backpack full of stuff I would need if i got in trouble. I then started down a trail admiring the forest around me.After about a hour and a half I came to a cliff and this made me smile because the scenery was so breath taking. But then I heard some branches cracking behind me, I then got scared and I slowly turned around to see a mountain lion in the brush and it growled at me. My heart started to race in fear as i looked around to escape but it was either get eaten or jump and I did not want to do either. The mountain lion got closer so i turned around and looked down and jumped screaming loud. I then hit the ground er a ledge, i then winced feeling like i sprained my ankle. I looked up and the mountain lion growled and looked like it was going to jump so i looked and saw another ledge and I got up and jumped to it but i almost missed. I pulled myself up and the mountain lion jump and missed the first ledge and fell to the ground with a thud and dust went everywhere. I watched as it got up but barrly and it limped off. I was surprised it lived after a fall like that. I looked around looking way for away to get back or at least get down. Then I heard a crack and the ledge started to shake and I gasped as I started to fall again. But then I hit a Branch that I'm surprised didn't snap under my weight. I then quickly got my backpack and pulled out some rope and I tied it to the tree and I dropped it and it looked like 8 or so feet from the ground but i didn't care. I put on my backpack and I started to climbed down and then I dropped to the ground.  I looked around and I sighed as it started to get dark and I looked around and found a branch and I used it as a crutch to the best of my ability. My ankle hurt bad and it started to really swell. I walked and walked but it seemed like i wasn't getting anywhere. I then though -yep im lost and i don't know how to get home or attest back to my car.- I looked up and it started to get super dark and i know i shouldn't be on the ground at night. So I dropped the branch and climbed up then nearest pine tree. This only made my ankle hurt worse but i got up really high, and looked around and all i could see was pine tress but then i caught a glimps of a modern white house lit up in the dark in the distance but I didn't wanna try to make my way that way at this hour. So i went in my bag and grabbed out the smaller rope and I tied myself to the tree so i wouldn't fall. I then soon fell asleep to the sound of the night.
