2: Guys Are Losers

Reyna stormed into the girl's bathroom. Two girls were doing each other's makeup and hair, but Reyna told them to get lost (and Reyna can be frightening, so they listened). When Reyna made sure the bathroom was empty, she closed the door and locked it.

She's alone now.

She sits down on top of a sink, and starts sobbing. She shakes her head. Why?

She looks at the door and listens to the party. Percy is out there. He's dancing with another girl. The girl looks more intelligent, and strong, and she's a blonde. She is in many of Reyna's classes. Reyna never really had a problem with her. Now the problem is her, since Percy broke off to dance with her. And then they kissed.

The girl's name is Annabeth.

Reyma continued to cry. She cried until she heard a banging on the door. It startled her, and her head snappes up. She wiped her cheeks, without thinking about her eyeliner, and opened the door.

An emo-looking girl stood before her, about a foot shorter. The girl's look changed from anger to pity.

"Wow," the Soph said. "You look more emo than I do."

Reyna glared, "Excuse you?"

Sophena sighed, and pulled Reyna into the bathroom, locking the door again, "Come on, let me fix you up."

Reyna would usually decline, but instead she let the girl fix her makeup and hair.

"Was it a guy?" Sophena asked.

Reyna nodded, embarrassed.

Sophena nodded, "Losers. That's why I date women."

Reyna shrugged, "I thought he was better."

Sophena nodded again, focusing on Reyna's eyeliner, "Yeah, I did with my ex too. He was sweet, but a player. One of the only guys I dated, actually, since I'm less attracted to them."

Reyna nodded without saying a word. Sophena finished up. "All right, you're good to go."

Reyna nodded, but dis nothing else. Sophena grabbed her arm and dragged her to her feet, "Come on, I'll find you some other guy to dance with. Or, you can sit with me."

Reyna smiled appreciatingly, "Either works. Thank you."

"What's your name?"

"Reyna. And you are?"

"Soph."

The two exited the unlocked bathroom and entered the gym.
