Gem AU

Note in the show most gems are female so I'm just gonna gender bend them and leave the hair and names the same. So yeah.

Lance's POV

Lance never really knew her position on homeworld. I mean she knew she was a lapis lazuli and she worked for blue diamond but she did different jobs. She had the highest and lowest rank at the same time. She did things lower class gems ♦💎 would do or she would attend parties as a higher rank. Like she was doing now. Sue looked at herself in the mirror. Her blue eyes and short hair always the same. She sighed as she left the room and made her way down the hall to find where this party was being hosted.

She was getting impatient and was at this point running through the castle 🏰.  She then collided with a Ruby🌹💎.

"Hey watch were your go-" the pink gem then looked up. And imeditatly soluted her. "General Lance I apologise"  so she was potrayed as a general ok that makes sense. She smiled at the Ruby.
"No need to apologise..." Lance hesitated wanting her to tell her her name.
"Keith" Keith that's a pretty name. Lance thought.
"Well Keith no need to apologise but I must be going will I see you around."
Keith thought before answering "well yellow diamond is spending a little time with blue diamond so I will probably be here for... I don't know about a week or so" she said.
"Well then I must be going but I'll see you around" Lance said turning only to cut off by someone grabbing the ribbon on the back of her dress.
" Um... Could you point me too were the ballroom is" Kieth said timidly. Lance chuckled.
"Sure follow me" So there they went the blue gem leading with the Ruby hot on her heels. Then they arrived. The door was a oval shape and had standard issue security measures. The lapis lazuli placed her hand on the console, once she was identified as Lance McClain Blue diamonds general the doors opened.

The party - if you could even call it that it seemed more like a gem gathering- was a bore. Keith kept glancing in Lance's direction. Lance would wink or wave whilst pretending she was listening to blue diamond. That almost made Keith laugh. Once talhe meeting part was over they had designated time for chatting while the diamonds talked. Keith was hanging out in a corner. Alone. Enjoying the silence,until Lance popped up and scared the living crystals out of her.
"What was that for" the red gem exclaimed fuming. Literally. Almost on fire. The blue gem backed up.
"I-im sorry my intentions were only to suprise you" at that she looked down hanging her head in shame. The Ruby imeditatly felt bad. She did not mean to cause Lance pain. She reached her arms out to comfort the now crying gem. The blue gem happily obliged and gave her a hug. The it happened. They couldn't really describe it. It only lasted about a few seconds and then they split. Looking at each other with wide eyes.

"WE ARE SO FUCKE-"
