What is forgiveness?
Will it I give or receive?
My life, I feel has been a mess
Because of others, or so I choose to believe
Many people I have tried to hate
Especially those whose loyalty should've lied with me
Now I fear missing His coming day
For I must forgive and this I now know and see
I see that the hatred does not please God
And all that comes with it is misery
Now I choose to no longer sob
But to serve the one and only He
Lord, help me to find love
Help me forgive, my past, present and future hurts
For making it to my home above
Is definitely the greatest of perks
