Chapter 12: Finally

"I'll protect you Kookie since I couldn't last time"

Last time...?

Jungkook's POV

Before I know it everything goes black as I feel my body go limp and fall into Taehyung's arms.

Next thing I know is I'm in a hotel with Taehyung, our first trip together since we got together, it was planned out, we would enjoy the beach, the indoor pool and hot springs, we would enjoy sleeping, cuddling etc.

Day 2 of the trip we just got back from the beach, as Taehyung is about to take a shower, we were laughing at his joke then all the sudden he stops and stares off, I'm asking him what's wrong, and he tells me to shh and the next thing I know he's yelling at me there's smoke, the smell is becoming suffocating, not even a second later flames are licking the walls.

I start to panic not knowing what to do since we can't go through the door, it's covered with flames, it's multiplying fast, too fast, next thing I know Taehyung is pushing me towards the window, but we are on the second floor and I know I won't make it, but it's our only escape, as I look out the window thankfully someone called the firemen and there's a huge trampoline at the bottom.

I smile and turn around but Taehyung isn't moving, I start to freak out and yell, but he pushes me through the window, and the last thing I see is his small smile and mouthing

"I love you"

Then I hit the trampoline, as I make impact the building explodes. I'm in shock, my cheeks are wet from tears and I'm having too much trouble breathing, I can't get that last image out of my head, it's becoming suffocating mentally, I start to scream, last thing I remember from the pain in my head and all over my body is Jimin's face...smiling....and it's black.

I wake up finally, apparently couple hours past and Taehyung is hovering over me with a worried expression, I immediately jump up and hug him tight crying uncontrollably thanking him for the sake of god somehow he's alive now.

After a few minutes of my breakdown and Taehyung whispering sweet things to calm me down, I decided to ask how he is still alive, about Jimin and everything else..

Taehyung's POV

-Flashback-

After seeing Kookie fall out of the window knowing he's safe, I feel a tear escape my face as the flames engulf me, as I'm going to accept my death, the door explodes open, I turn around quickly and barely make out a shadow, I think it's the firemen or something, all I know is at that moment I lost consciousness.

I awaken in a hospital bed, took me a few to gather my memories and I still wonder how I was saved at the last second, I'm going to blame it on a miracle.

Deep in my thoughts the noise on the tv catches my attention, it's the news

"We are here on the site of the now burnt to the ground hotel, we have someone here to tell us what happened"

"H-hello, yeah I'm the manager, earlier today was a normal day, I was walking around doing my usual routine when I saw someone suspicious in the back he was pouring something all over the ground in the hallway, I instantly knew the smell of gasoline so I yelled at him, he looked at me but his face was covered, a black hat, glasses and a mask, he drops the bucket and begins to run off, but he stops and drops the lighter within seconds flames appeared so I ran back to the front to inform everyone and called the police and firemen"

"So the person at fault hasn't been caught we did get an image sent by some bystanders as they saw someone running out of the building"

-The image is shown and Taehyung could recognize this silhouette anywhere-

"J-Jimin...?"

Then the memories flash back and forth, how he felt towards us, sometimes catching him glaring at me, how he would look at Kookie, way more than simple "crush" the random marks on Kookie that he wouldn't explain to me, it makes sense...his obsession...tried to kill us both!!

I need to inform everyone else and get back to Kookie before Jimin does!

-Skip a week-

I start to search which hospital could possibly hold Kookie I finally found the jackpot, so happy I can see him again, so I go to his room but instantly stopped when I heard voices, I look through the small window in the door and see Jimin with Hobi..

"The doctors say he has amnesia"

"Wow I can't believe that! So sad!"

"Yeah..." Jimin says and turns his head from Hobi towards Jungkook and smiles, that smile gives me shivers.

I back up and process everything, I need to find another way get him back..

I start to walk away then I bump into Namjoon, I'm happy to see him and expect some questioning but I get nothing...what the hell he isn't even worried about me?

Then I see his face, the face he makes when he sees a stranger.

Wtf is happening?! I look around and start to see everyone and see the same expression...t-they forgot about me...?

I question them but they think I'm just some crazy bastard and I see Jimin and Hobi walk out, Hobi looks at me with confusion then I see Jimin, smiling..

He fucking did this.

I decide to give up for now and walk away, things I know for fact

1.Jimin caused the accident
2.Kookie has amnesia
3.Everyone forgot about me somehow
4.Jimin is extremely dangerous

Now...how will I go about this?
