I went to a store, I needed sweets. I reached the shelve I wanted but I'm short and couldn't reached them. Short girls problems.

"Need any help, Alex." I turned to see Ryder, he looked so hot dressed casual.

"Well, yes. I can't reached that bar and I need it."

He reached it with no problem and passed it to me.

"Thanks, boss." I smiled.

"You can call me Ryder outside of work." He said while getting closer to me.

"Well, thanks Ryder."

"Much better." He removed a strand of hair from my face.

"So, what are you doing here?" I asked

"Grace wanted chocolates so I came to buy them. She is on her days and craves them like crazy." He shook his head, I just chuckled. "Anything to get out of that house with one moody teenager and a crazy wife.

"True that, good luck boss." I grinned he just shook his head.

"See you on Monday, Alex." He said as he traced my bottom lip. 

It took everything in me to not pull him into a kiss him. I wanna thank my parents for the perv trait.

Ryder

"Sweetie, I got your chocolates."

"Thank you dad. You are the best." She gave me a hug and then went to her bedroom.

"I bet the chocolates were an excuse just so you could be with that assistant of yours." I look to see Marla with crossed arms.

"Look, I don't owe you any explanation. If I stay with you here it's only cause of Grace." I said with so much anger.

I can't stand her, why did I ever agree to marry her is beyond me, but you know, when you are young stupid and horny you don't think. At least not with the right head. I did love her at one point, but that changed when all she wanted was money and started to become so cold.

I know, you don't have to stay married only cause of kids. I know and I also know this marriage is toxic. But Grace loves her mother, even though Marla is cold, Grace still has hope that she will change.

"You know I don't like sharing." She sighed.

"We stopped being together a long time, so be happy you're still getting money from me." I said to her and she glared.

"Dad, come watch a movie with me."

"Be right there, princess." I replied back. "Control me again and you will see where that will take you." With that said I joined Grace.

Alexandra

"Honey I'm home." I announced and no answer, "Okay then, lazy ass is still sleeping. Oh well, time to binge watch The Originals, while eating all these junk food."

Monday morning came, nobody likes Monday ughh. I went to do my morning routine then change clothes and grab some breakfast.

"Morning, Davina."

"Morning, I need another day to sleep." She said while grabbing coffee.

"True, me too. Now let's finish breakfast and head to work." I said and she nodded.

........

"Good morning boss."

"Morning, Alex." He smiled and then went to his office.

A few hours went by and a surprise visit came, "Tell my husband I'm here."

"A hello also works, you know?" I said with crossed arms.

"Like that will happen, I know you sleep with him, such a little slut."

"Think whatever you want, I'll let know your hubby know that her royal bitch is here." I smirked and then went to his office.

"Hey Alex, what can I do for you."

"Well, I see you're very busy, otherwise you would've seen who's outside." He looked at the screen and saw His wife.

"If she's here, then she wants money."

"Want me to let her come in?"

He walked towards me and pinned me against the wall.

"Ever heard of personal space?" I asked.

"Nah, this is more fun." He wrapped his arms around my waist.  Man, no idea what's gotten into him. But this is the first time he tries this on me, no complains though.

"You look beautiful." He whispered making me blush.

And just like that he let go of me, can this man get anymore confusing. "Tell her someone will make a transfer soon." He said and I nodded before leaving.

"Mr Prescott says that someone will make a transfer soon. You may leave." 

"I want to have some alone time with him, so move it."

"Can't do, he is very busy at the moment." I grabbed her arm.

"I will make sure he fires you."

"Go ahead, do it." I challenge her.

"I really hate you."

"Eh, buh bye." I waved at her and she stormed out.

"Too easy." I chuckled.

"Is that so?" I turned to see Ryder with a smirk.

"Sorry but, she is a witch."

"That's true, thanks for the little show." He chuckled and went back to his office.

Well, at least I'm not fired, That's a good thing. 

"Hey, Alexa."

"Hey Joshy." I said while searching for some documents.

"Looking for something?" He asked while holding the documents I needed.

"Of course I left them in your office." I shook my head.

"This is what happens when you daydream about your boss." He smirked.

"Pfft, as if."

"Pretty obvious you both want each other yet don't make a move."

"One shh, he's next door and two no, he's married." I whispered and he just chuckled. 

"Alex, can you please come to my office." Ryder said in a serious tone. Josh just looked at me and then left.

Oh boy, I hope I'm not in trouble.
