Chapter 1: She's Back

Jessica's POV

"Jessica your going to be late for school" My mom shouted barging in my room.

"I'm up mom, okay?" I said while I was getting up. When I said that she smiled and leave my room.

As I got out of bed I went to my closet and stated picking out what I should wear. I picked a black shirt that said,
" These bitches aren't ready", ripped jeans, a light blue jacket, and red converses. Ohhh. I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Jessica. I am a sophomore at Trinity High (made it up ) thats located in a small town called, Rosewood. Okay back to the topic, after I got dressed, I grabbed my bag and went down stairs to see my mom cooking breakfast.

"Good Morning mom" I said.

"Good Morning sweetie. Go have a seat, I'm almost finish" My mom said focusing on her cooking.

" Okay. Is dad here? I need to speak to him." I said obviously knowing that he left as always.

" I'm sorry sweetie but your dad already left........" she said but I wasn't listening because I suddenly look out side and I remembered it's the day were Mei left and when Rachael gone missing 2 years ago. No one except Anjie, Chaze, Honey, Mei, Rachael, and me were there. It still haunts my memory on what happened. Everyone blames us but we weren't sure on why Rachael will suddenly dissapeared.

Our group was the most popular in this town but when Rachael disappeared and Mei left, we separated.

Rachael was the out leader of the group. She was always blackmailing people to get what she want but she was their for us, sorta.

Mei was always the one to go against Rachael for us and didn't care what she said as long as she doesn't do it to us. Mei was the girl you don't want to mess with if you do anything to the ones she loved.

Anjie was the emo one in our group but also my best friend, we would talk all day but we started to lose touch after all that's happened.

Honeyanne or Honey and Chaze were the closes in the group. They were the most smartest and creative too. I hang out with them but barley. We see each other like I do Anjie but that's all.

And there's me in the group, I was the peace maker when Rachael and Mei used to fight also the crazy one but now I am just regularly me now.

As I was lost in my thoughts I heared my mom calling me. " Jessica, are u ok?"

" Yeah" I smiled and started eating the food my mom put in front of me.

When I was done eating. I said, " Bye mom" and was about to leave the house but suddenly got a text from an unknown number.

"Thinking about the past aren't we?"

I looked at my phone and text that number back.

" Who is this"

"That's for me to know and you to find out, Jess. But remember you may be the peace maker but what other secrets are you hidding?." - X

As I saw that message, I gasp. " How the hell did this person get this photo
?" At that moment I was scared to text that person back because I'm afraid that the picture will get out so I ignore it and started walking to school.

When I got there I saw my boyfriend Xavier Knight and his twin Xander in front of the school. I walk to them to see my old group, I smiled and walk the other direction to see a motorcycle just pulled up in front. Everyone started to stare but when he pulled off his helmet. It wasn't a he, it was a she.

It was.......MEI.

My eyes widen and I reluctantly turn to the rest to see that they had the same expression like me.

Mei suddenly look at me and smirk before she when inside the front doors of the school.

" Isn't that Mei?", " She changed", "She's hot", " Why is she back? I thought she left after Rachael disappeared?"

I heared everyone talking. I looked at Xavier and Xander to hear them saying,  " So the rumor is true?" While shaking their heads.

"What rumor?" I asked confused. They looked at me and Xavier spoke,
" There was a rumor going on that said Mei Pendragon was coming back"

" Did u believe those rumors?" I blurted out

Xander smiled and said, " Yes we did". " Hey bro remember the deal we did?" Xander said to Xavier.

" Yeah, why?" He said back.

" What deal?" I said. " Nothing" Xavier said and told Xander " Well speak about this somewhere else". He then nod. They look at me and said, "See you later" then walk off to who knows where. I was going to follow them but I got a text from the same unknown number.

I read the text and it said, " Unfaithful Boyfriend you have there, now that Mei's back don't you think? They had a past and to me it seem like they are going to continue it" - X

I was going to reply but the bell rang and I went to my first period.
