HARRY'S POV
"What is for dinner tonight, Mione?" I asked.
"Oh, um, you'll see." She stuttered, looking down, "Emma, Ron, this way."
She started showing Ron and Emma to the kitchen, but before she could sit down, I pulled her off to the side.
"Mione, are you feeling okay?" I asked. I was really concerned. She was acting a little off.
"Um, yeah, I'm fine."
"Okay."
30 MINUTES LATER
Hermione and Emma are both great cooks. I mean GREAT cooks. Dinner looks amazing. We couldn't start until now, because Hermione insisted on "catching up". She seemed really nervous. It's kind of making me curious.
"Hey, Harry," Hermione said,
"I think I left something in the oven. Can you go check?"
"Sure."
HERMIONE'S POV
"Hey, Harry," I said, "I think I left something in the oven. Can you go check?"
This was it. Harry would go in there and see one bun in the oven, and hopefully he would get the reference.
1 MINUTE LATER
Emma leaned over and whispered to me, "Should he be taking this long?"
"I'll go check on him," I said.
I walked into the kitchen just as Harry set the tray on the counter. He kind of stared at the bun for a second, then he muttered, "bun in the oven............BUN IN THE OVEN!"
Then he turned around and realized that I was there.
"Mione..........are you pregnant?"
I nodded.
"I'm going to be a dad?"
I nodded again.
He started tearing up. Then, he leaned in and kissed me.
EMMA'S POV
Hermione had gone into the kitchen, and we didn't know what was going on. Then, all of a sudden, we heard Harry yell, "BUN IN THE OVEN!"
"Should we go in there?" Ron asked.
"Let's wait a couple seconds."
"Okay, now let's go see."
Ron and I headed into the kitchen, just to see Harry and Hermione making out.
"Eh hem." Ron half coughed.
They still didn't stop.
"Geez, Harry, you just figured out that you're having your first kid. Is this really the time to start on the second? I mean, we haven't even had dessert yet. I'm hungry." Ron said.
"RONALD WEASLEY!!!!!!!!" I yelled. There might have been a slap in there.
They finally stopped kissing, and Hermione said,
"Really Ronald?"
"Geez, you two are so much alike."
