Setting: At the Indigo Plateau
Referee - Golduck vs. Pikachu, begin the match!
This time, Ash will be the one who will attack first by not wasting any time.
Ash - Pikachu, use Quick Attack.
Pikachu runs at a fast speed and then hits the opponent. While running, a white or silver trail is created behind it.
Misty - Block the attack and use Mega Punch!
Golduck blocked the attack by using his hands and Pikachu's attack was successfully cancelled. After that, he clenches his fist and punch Pikachu.
Ash - Intercept it with your Iron Tail.
While in the air, Pikachu clashed Golduck's Mega Punch with his tail. Pikachu bounced back and both of them are unharmed by their attacks.
Misty - Golduck, Water Gun!
Golduck releases a spiral of water from his bill at the opponent.
Ash - Use Thunderbolt.
Yellow sparks appear around Pikachu's tail and cheeks before launching the attack then Pikachu releases a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from his body at the opponent.
The two attacks intercepted with each other but unfortunately the stream of water absorbed the electricity, making it more powerful when it hit something.
Ash - Oops. I've made the wrong choice here.
Misty - Heh. Bad luck to you.
Ash suddenly smirked and said,
Ash - You think I've got bad luck? Well let me show you true power. Pikachu dodge the attack and use Bolt Strike!
Misty - Bolt Strike??
Pikachu then dodged the stream of water with electricity absorbed and then he clenches his fists very hard and his body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity with large yellow lightning bolts coming off of it as well. Pikachu then leaped very high and dive down at the opponent and slams his body into it.
Misty - Dodge it!! She yelled desperately.
Luckily, Golduck managed to dodge the powerful attack by leaping on his right and when Pikachu hit the ground, it leaves a massive explosion. When the smoke is gone, he created a crater that is 3 meters deep and 7 meters wide.
Misty - Whoa, that is one powerful attack if I should say. She said amused.
Ash - Yup. Bolt Strike is also one of Zekrom's signature moves that he taught to my Pikachu. Now Pikachu, use Quick Attack, once more.
Pikachu then runs at a fast speed heading towards ti Golduck. While running, a white or silver trail is created behind it.
Misty - Golduck, stop his tracks with Water Gun.
Golduck then fires a barrage of stream of water from his bill but every time he fires, Pikachu is dodging them. After 5 strikes, Pikachu is now in range of his attack.
Ash - Volt Tackle.
His body then becomes surrounded by golden electricity, and it tackles the opponent. While covered in electricity, Pikachu's body looks black and white. Pikachu successfully hit Golduck dealing tremendous damage and Golduck was knocked back by the attack. Luckily for him he didn't get a side effect which is Paralysis. (Golduck's hp 50%)
Misty - Grr. Golduck use Aqua Charge!
Ash - Oh. Another new attack. Pikachu, Let's finish this once and for all. Bolt Strike!
Golduck then glowed in blue as he was surrounded by water energy all around on his body and rushes to Pikachu.
He then clenches his fists very hard and his body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity with large yellow lightning bolts coming off of it as well. Pikachu then leaped very high and dive down at the opponent and slams his body into it.
The two attacks collided with each other resulting into a massive explosion. When the thick smoke is gone, Golduck is lying on the ground with swirls on his eyes while Pikachu is standing on Golduck's body with a victory pose.
Referee - Golduck is unable to battle. Pikachu wins!
Ash - Nice one Pikachu! He said giving Pikachu a thumbs up for doing a successful battle.
Pikachu - Pika! (Yay!) He said happily.
Misty then returned her Golduck and said,
Misty - You did a great job, Golduck. Take a nice long rest. *as she grabs another pokéball* Alright this is our last chance, Go pokéball!
Misty then threw the pokéball into the air and when the pokéball opened, the Shellfish pokémon made his first appearance and let out his battle cry, signifying that he is ready to battle.
Ash - Ooh. A Blastoise. Okay, come on out my friend!
Ash then threw his pokéball and when the pokéball opened, The Flame pokémon appeared and roared across the battlefield, signifying that he is also ready to battle. When he saw Blastoise, the two of them stared at each other intensely with fire on their eyes as they both determined to win.
Referee - Charizard vs. Blastoise. Let the third round begin!
