Chapter 6

 In a moment, Bucky's being filled with rage and destruction. He spotted the shooters, masked in all black racing away. He ran and jumped out the broken window ignoring the shards of glass as the embedded in his skin. A second later, he landed upright on the to the lower building where the shots had been fired. Bullets ripped through him leaving blotches on red on his gray tank top and and dented his metal arm. He remained stone cold as he ran to the group of three with no mercy. One after the other dropped lifeless with a thud. He looked for more until he heard a raspy voice call out ¨Hail Hydra...¨with poison foaming from the corners of his mouth dripping onto the concrete. ¨Hydra...¨ he breathed. Sure enough the Hydra symbol was on each of the attackers.

He looked up to the apartment building to see Flora peeking over the ledge of the broken window. He nodded his head as if to say all clear.

---back at stark towers----

Bucky got back as quickly as possible. Flora was still crouched on the floor. Blood trickled down her side. She whimpers as she held her hands on her bleeding wound; blood covering her small pale hand. Bucky rushes to her and holds her. He pulls back a bit and wipes her tears away.

¨I'll be back in a second.¨ He fumbles through the bathroom closet and finds bandages.

Tears fell down her face as she held her side."Bucky hurry please it hurts....".

He was there in an instant propping her up with some pillows. He tears some bandage wrap with his teeth and carefully wraps it around her small waist. She clenched her fists to suppress her pain. She looks at Bucky after he finished as she curled up to him gently she just wanted held.

¨I never got to finish what i was going to say.¨ Bucky says peering down at her. Flora curled up into his arms" Please finish what you were gonna say" she said cutely and tiredly.

¨I just wanted you to know, how much i want to wake up next to you every morning and be together.¨ She blushes deeply looking at him she was happy as she curled up into his warmth."Oh bucky I want that as well".

Flora had fallen asleep due to her needing rest especially after her wound. She was resting cutely unaware that the only happiness in her life was planning to leave. She turned over on her good side and holds a pillow close thinking it was him. She sleepily hums in her sleep not hearing any of the racket bucky was making. Steve walks in from down the hall and whispers.

"Bucky what are you doing!" Steve whisper yells at his long time friend. He was upset seeing Bucky leave the one girl he truly cared for.

¨Its Hydra. They're back, and if I don't leave I'm not the only one they're going to get.¨ Bucky threw a nervous glance at Flora. ¨I can't put her in danger anymore. ¨ he sighed and looked a Steve with a sad smile. ¨Look, Flora got shot today because of me. And I want you to tell her,t-that its for her.¨ He picked a heavy backpack from the floor. ¨Bye Steve.¨ Steve followed him to the elevator. ¨Wait we can go together!!!¨ Steve says in a hurry, eager to help his friend. ¨Buck, it hasn't been even been a year since you got back.¨ Bucky looks deep in his eyes,¨I need you to be here, for Flora. Also...¨ Bucky paused ¨ I can't let Hydra get you.¨ The elevator dings and opens. ¨I know I can't stop you.¨ He hugs his best friend ¨Be safe.¨ Bucky presses a button as the elevator doors closed, ¨Goodbye Steve.¨

Steve sighs looking at the closed elevator doors as he walks back to Bucky's room. He looks upon Flora's sleeping form he ran his hands through his hair. He covered the sleeping girl up and sat in a chair. Flora lays sleeping until she woke up she rubs her eyes seeing she was curled up to a pillow with Bucky's shirt on it. She began to tear up until she saw Steve."W-Where i-is h-he?" She asked shakily as she looks at him gently. He looked at her with bloodshot eyes ¨He left. He didn't want you to get hurt.¨ Steve sighs. ¨He wouldn't let me come. He said to stay with you.¨

That's when flora lost it she began sobbing she wanted him back. She grips the pillow closely to her body. She tried to muffle her sobs but her father could hear her sobbing she just wanted him back. She gets up and ran to the elevator even knowing she was injured she managed to see him."BUCKY!" she screamed at him she had tears falling down her face as she ran up to him hugging him while sobbing. " Please don't leave me!" she said through her sobs she didn't want to be alone.

Bucky just held Flora close and let her cry herself to sleep. He took her back to Steve chaining one leg to the bed so she couldn't run off. Bucky soon left as it would be a couple months since he left.
