Chapter Two|Draco what have you done?

When Delilah woke up that morning there was a letter on her desk from Paris,She read it as soon as she got dressed,

"Lilah,

That's good I'm glad he's ok,and get off my ass about breaking up with Alec,I'm gonna give him one more chance and if he doesn't get it together,then I'll dump him.And tell Oli to shove it up his Ravenclaw ass,the nosy bastard.

"Hey Oli,Paris said to shove it up your Ravenclaw ass,you nosy bastard!"Delilah shouted across the hall.If her parents were home she wouldn't dare do such a thing,but they're on vacation at the Noble's summer home in Scilly. They won't be back until the thirty first."You can tell Paris to shove it up her Slytherin ass!" Delilah got ready for the day and headed downstairs to have some breakfast.The house was unusually busy that morning,the gardeners were here,to take care of the lawn,and Delilah's grandmother was in the dining room with her book club eating fruit and gossiping about "That Malfoy boy"."Ah,there she is my angel of a granddaughter.Delilah,come sit with us,we were just talking about your friend,that Malfoy boy.","Draco." Delilah corrected as she hugged her grandmother and took the seat next to her."Yes,him.",Delilah listened to the old ladies talk until Oli came downstairs and by that time it was already three o'clock so the siblings decided to head for diagon alley.

"Where did you tell Draco to meet us?" Oliver asked his sister who was admiring a beautiful long haired black cat in the window of Magical Menagire."I told him to meet us at Olivanders,I need a new wand.I think I'm gonna buy that cat." "Do whatever you want Lilah,I have to go but I'll find you and Draco later."Delilah turned and looked at her brother with her eyebrows furrowed and a confused look on her face."Where are you going?" "I have a date."Oliver grinned and put his hands in his jacket pockets."A date!?With who!?".Oliver covered the side of his mouth,"Xander Watts."
Xander Watts was a handsome young man,with long curly hair that he kept in a bun and dark skin.He was a seventh year Slytherin,a beater and Slytherins quidditch captain."Do you really?"Delilah asked excitedly."Yeah,but I don't wanna brag or anything."Oliver's cheeks turned a bright red."Oli that's great!I'm so happy for you!""I know I'm so nervous!" "Oli,you're a catch.Youre smart and funny and amazing what more could he ask for?Oh that's right nothing."Oliver smiled and thanked his sister and went on his way."Yeah,I'm gonna buy that cat."Delilah thought to herself.

Delilah walked inside Magical Menageries and went straight to the lovely black cat that had caught her eye.She stuck her hand out and let the cat sniff it,it rubbed its head against her hand.Delilah picked up the cat and took it to the front desk."That'll be nine galleons." "Here you go." "Thank you have a nice day." The man put the cat into a wire carrier and handed it to Delilah.Delilah and her new companion who she decided to call Romeo made their way to Ollivanders.

Delilah opened the door to Ollivanders and the bell on the door rang.Delilah set Romeo down next to her feet."Be right with you!"Mr.Ollivander yelled.A moment later he came rolling across a bookshelf full of wands,on a ladder."How can I help you?" "I need a new wand,mine broke in half." "Ah,yes of course.Let me see what I have for you.Hmmm,yes here we go.Fir wood,unicorn hair core,ten and three quarters,hard flexibility.Try this one."Delilah took the wand and waved it in the air and some papers that were stacked in the corner gently floated up and then back down into a neat stack."Yes,I think that'll do."Just as Delilah was paying for her new wand the door opened."Ah,Mr.Malfoy how can I help you."Delilah turned around and saw Draco,who had dark circles under his eyes and as usual was dressed in an all black,fitted suit."Draco."Delilah said,both concerned about Draco's health and happy to see her friend."Delilah."Draco smiled.Delilah finished paying for her wand then she and Draco finished up their school shopping,then walked around for an hour or two just catching up. "Why don't we go back to my house for dinner?"Delilah suggested, "Yeah,sure."

Delilah left Draco to his own devices while she took her things upstairs to her room.When she came back she stopped at the head of the stairs to see Draco looking at a picture of them when they were kids that was hanging on the wall.When th picture was taken Draco and Delilah were both 8,they were racing on their brooms and Draco thought he was going to win but Delilah beat him fair and square.She saw Draco truly smile for the first time in a long time."Draco?",he looked up at her,"Yeah?" "Are you hungry?"Draco grinned, "Famished."

Tricky already had dinner prepared when the two walked into the kitchen. "Tricky,you don't need to set the table.We're going to eat on the terrace."  "Yes master,would you like some candles?" "Yes Tricky,that would be lovely,thank you."Tricky rushed off to the terrace.

Draco and Delilah sat and talked about school and other things.They both went quiet for a few moments looking up at the night sky. "Do you remember you're twelfth birthday,when you came over and you and I ran off and climbed that willow tree by the lake?"Delilah asked. "How could I forget."Draco smiled.

"Hurry up,Lilah." "I'm running as fast as I can,Draco."The two children ran away from Oliver until they came to the lake and they climbed the large weeping willow.The children sat and talked for hours until they heard Oliver calling for them. "Delilah." "Yeah?"Draco leaned in and quickly kissed Delilah then jumped down and ran.

They both laughed at the memory, "Delilah,I have something I need to show you." "What is it?"Draco took off his jacket and rolled up his shirt sleeve.Delilah could see the tip of a tattoo peeking out,Draco didn't even get half way when Delilah figured out what it was. "Draco,what have you done?"Draco's eyes started to water and his chin started to tremble, "I didn't want it,Lilah.He would've killed my family if I hadn't done it.He would've killed me."Delilah pulled Draco close to her, "I understand Draco,it's ok."Draco wept into her shoulder while Delilah rubbed his back and reassured him everything was going to be fine.

When Oliver got back to the Noble Family Estate,Draco and Delilah were still out on the terrace but by now they had made their way to the loveseat and were cuddled up asleep under a blanket.Oliver decided to leave them there and went to bed.
